As I see more of Simms, I now think he's a bit misunderstood, he's just quieter and more serious than some of the others and that's his character, it's not about lack of passion, he put in another real shift! PUSB
@toddcutts667 christ, he scored three in the first half, there is no pleasing some fans. Robins might've asked them to ease up as we have a game Friday.
@@toddcutts667 We have West Brom on Friday, why would players tire themselves to force goals in a game that doesn't need it? He also would've been set up for a 1 vs 1 in the 2nd half with the keeper but O'Hare's through ball was so overpowered he essentially passed it to the keeper.
It makes you proud to be Sky Blue when see the rapport between the two teams after the game. Also, the Cov fans applauding the Maidstone manager too. Well done City and well done the sky blue Army.
A good night at the CBS, city in full control and the damage was done early on. Fingers crossed for a home tie in the next round. Chuffed for Simms getting his goals. Congrats to the Maidstone boys for getting as far as they did! Great turnout with their fans as well staying until the final seconds 👏🏼
Really happy for Tavares, looked a little bit out of place and nervous first half but he showed signs that he can be a great player, he also looked at lot more confident going forward when on the left as it seems to suit his dribbling better. For me he’s earns another start against West Brom Edit: he seems to have a great attitude aswell wich is always vital for a player
Pleased to see him score but sometimes looked a bit like a rabbit in front of headlights & got bumped off the ball to much. Will be a much tougher ask of him Friday if selected.
He's a striker, not every player can adapt to playing out wide. Hopefully he can get some minutes up front, he would be class playing off Simms. As for the wide right position, I think he should play JDS there, obviously lacks a little defensively so higher up will suit him.
@@Whoknows-zu2eb I know what your saying he is a striker but he said he’s a played on the left a lot and I think give him some minutes their and see how he does

Been watching the City since the 60s and I struggle to think of a better away support than Maidstone last night. It made for a terrific atmosphere…
Eh ? Sang the same song all Game and never sang as a unit. Decent fans but to say best in 50 😂😂 Blackpool were louder, Leeds about ten years ago, Cardiff at highfield Road, Tottenham at HR list goes on

He played well in the first half then ghosted in the second half tbh

@@markotoole7937 just being real tho mate. They’re 2 leagues below league 2 so I’d expect him to do well
I agree, think he's just not very extrovert maybe even a little shy

Great team effort!
Put to bed Friday's disaster. PUSB.
❤❤Liam Kelly....
I went
Haaland v Bobby Thomas the things you don't want to see. Hope we get to Wembley PUSB
I did not think much of Simms at the start of the season but he's came on a lot
Yeah, MUFC home or away would do very nicely
Yep, that's who I want as well.
Maidstones big game fans can go back to supporting their big teams armchair now, great for the regular sipporters though
Simms will tear you apart again!
Andrew Hughes watching the Sakamoto shirt gesture like lololol 😂😂
He's not dead.
Simmo is quiet and stand-offish because he knows how fickle football fans are...and I don't blame him.
Convincing win. Need a similar display this coming Friday away to WBA . ManCity in the quarter finals ! 🤞🏻🩵⚽️
i'm glad they fixed my right ear. you know if you know
