Cheapest AMG? The Mercedes C55 AMG in review

In this video I review the 2005 Mercedes C55 AMG. It was a great experience and must note that this particular vehicle in the video does have a customized exhaust system which greatly improves the notes.
The video was shot using a Samsung S21 Ultra using a Zhiyun Smooth 4.

I drive w202 C55 AMG and have always wondered what a proper exhaust would sound like. I think this video is as close as I can get until I have my own exhaust created for it. Great video and awesome owner who loves his car!

I’ve owned a c55 amg for a year now. I blew the engine and it’s been sitting in the driveway for 3 months. I’ve thought about selling it, but man will that be a sad day. I definitely took it for granted because it’s such an amazing car

How did you blow the engine? They are pretty much indestructible! Where are you located?

@@kbcarroll California. I did a pull on the highway in manual mode and it threw a rod. But the engine burned a lot of oil. (1 quart every 800 miles). When I sold it, a guy reached out and said he had the exact same thing happen with his.

Agreed, but don't forget, what is cheap for Mercedes is not necessarily the same for other makes

e55 and ml55 are the cheapest bro. c55 without rust issues and epic handeling(for merc) is still a better choice overall imo. C is also rarer and a newer car(already rising anyway) which potentially translates into higher value increase in future.

I'll disagree with you on the assessment of the e55 and ml55 as they are known for the airmatic suspension failures which are common and expensive. The C55 does carry that burden
