AMEN! We have been to and been part of worship teams with different types of worship. The simplest and the most humble form of worship and worship teams is where we felt the presence of the Lord the most. It isn't how professional the team is, it is about the leader's heart and touching the heart of God. Worship isn't about US, it's about HIM.
The video is great. I enjoy the fact that now after so many years in church music, we can hear how artists perform it. Imagine Bill and Gloria Gaither in the 70's showing us how to do "The King is Coming". What a Kick!! 'The comments on the video, including mine? We sound just like the lobby after the service. You all keep making a joyful noise and serve The Lord with Gladness.
yeah. i know its by Hillsong. but on the Mighty to Save DVD, they did a version of How Great Is Our God too. pretty cool how they 'exchanged' songs.. kinda.

I love the hillsong performance. The singers seem to be at rest in the Lord and not trying so hard. Chris seems to be a humble servant, but the background singers sounded off and seemed to be shouting out of tune. This certainly doesn't lead into the presence of the Lord. But distracts...

I love how all the worship leaders are young, but you can still tell who they are! Some have better haircuts now though.
