Your story on what you did to buy your own cards just tells a lot of what we did in our generation vs. this young one. If we wanted something, we worked for it. There was no such thing as being too young to make a buck. It wasn't hey Mom, can you buy me this? Nope, you wanted something, go do some chores, or work for it. Love that bottle story.
