Another tip for Ryze ult in lane: if you're getting frozen on e.g. vs Irelia, you can ult your incoming wave into the tower, breaking the freeze! Credit goes to LS for sharing it

Umm but doing that requires you to walk up to your minions, that irelia fully controls since you 're getting frozen on by her, resulting in her all in-ing you, no?
@@fioragaming19 you can always ult the wave BEFORE it reaches that area of the lane? Don't tell me the irelia is freezing AND tower diving you LOL
One tip not mentioned that is very useful - e wave, walk away to wait cooldown, qeq wave. You insta clear and are less vulnerable than doing eq eq. Also higher chance to get all creeps.
This has single handedly made laneing possible for me
20 seconds in and there's a genius trick that I never thought of

I remember this ryze once used his ult after we got inhib tower mid on low hp herald, and we warped to top inhib tower and took that with 200 hp on the rift herald cause it warped us with the herald. Dude was really a 5Head Ryze. Great video.

Some future champ ideas for this series: Wukong, Camille, Ivern, Evelynn, Talon, Diana, kassadin, vladimir, twisted fate, vayne, kaisa (some of them are straight foward champion, but with only great, unique combos you can separate good and great players. )

Ryze one trick here! the "standard combo" is almost never used in practise. Its often better to use Q-E-W-Q-E-Q for the root instead, as its quite important when bursting someone down, especially in the meta with this much movement
im otp too, and that is true, but you can still get a Q between E and W if you are far enough from the target!
Did you guys also cry when the Ryze R + Zhonyas returned only to disappear in 6 hours?

Yay, a video about a control mage! The class that has quite a few fun and interesting champions that end up getting nerfed to the ground cus Riot wants flashy assassins to dominate pro play and high elo. Ryze has been a pretty big victim of this for sure, having to receive a rework that made him the E-Q spammer we know today. But despite that, the guy still has a bunch of great tricks that he can do, ESPECIALLY with the ult. (Holy hell, those ult tricks that you've shown are absolutely insane! I could only use it to roam or to disengage xd)

the skillshots dodge is a real thing, i usually at 15 mins end up with five or six kills, the moment i get relaxed and stop hard dodge and predicting i fed so much xD
If you are frozen or really need to back you can ult the minion wave into tower like at 7:30 and reset

Reason why Ryze don't build Luden's is because it doesn't give you any HP.
Everfrost gives you everything - HP, Mana, DMG and free Root.
Ludens is preferred against easy matchups and players that know they can dodge well. however everfrost helps you with everything.
Hp, Mana, Ap, Good active, cdr.

it's better to use W (any point and click CC skill) on the enemy first then flash so they can't flash away
if you use flash first then W there's a millisecond delay
