Very interesting point of view. Very realistic :)

Great point about consulting versus working in a company, I never thought about that.
I'm not good at having to market myself nor wish to spend extra hours keeping my own business. Not to mention that the benefits from a company tend to be pretty darn better than going at it alone.

Yeah the risks and balances are there to weigh up.

Unsubscribing and halting donations because I needed help and I messaged you on discord with no response; I ended up losing my job and it detrimentally hurt my family.

Sorry to hear this. RUclips is saying this is the first time you've commented on a video as a channel backer. You could have also posted here and I'd have helped. I'm not sure I can be blamed for loosing your job I do always highlight that I'm going tobe slower than posting int he community forums and or reaching out to support but either way sorry you had a bad experience.

@@TableauTim Thank you for the response. This confirms my first perception of you: an outstanding individual. I'm sorry if my comment came off as rude. I thought I had commented before but if RUclips says I haven't, I guess the analytics do not lie. My apologies. I've learned a lot from you, and I've become pretty good at Tableau. You and SQLBelle were/are my favorite content creators. Thank you for all the guidance you've given me. Last thing, (I know I didn't put this in my last comment) but I landed a higher paying job for another company thankfully, and they're just implementing Power BI and Tableau. So, once I have income, I'll go right back to doing the same thing I was doing. Thank you very much Mr. Tim! Solid solid content. 💪♥️

Glad this comment had a happy ending because at no point could the lack of response from a content creator be the cause of someone losing their job. Tim, you are a legend, keep up the outstanding work
