    Hey Bryce, do you know how long since you retorqued the clutch bolt? I'm just trying to figure out how often it should be retorqued or replaced. I had it happen on my 9r last year and it caused 6k worth of damage. Luckily it was warranteed. I believe they say to do it once a year, but that might not be enough if you ride a shit ton. I heard on one of Matt's vids that every 450 miles or so then to actually replace the bolt every other time, or something like that.

    Heading up from peaks right now. Watching your video while I wait for my sled to cool off

    Those speed kits are awesome, I have been a cnc mechanic for 13 years and when they came out with that version it saves so much time getting broken and stripped bolts out ! Great ride man.

      They are life savers and have come in handy a few times! Now I keep the kit in my tunnel bag haha thank you!

    That was a nice pull right before the primary bolt broke!

    How many times has the bolt been out? That boot was either over grossly torqued at some point. Or it wasn’t properly torqued enough.

    How high is your sled revving? It seems you should have a lot more speed. But might be the video

    Great video. It really shows how steep the terrain is when you video other riders in the area be just the go pro angle. I’d try the ibex titanium bolt.

    • @Bryce_Cardinal
      @Bryce_Cardinal  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you! Ya the action cameras never do steepness justice unfortunately. Videoing other riders does give a little better perspective. It was STEEP!

    I seen a lot of these. Thats the 1st time I heard someone capture the sound on video.
    Why didn't you just leave your clutch bolted up and get a new bolt for Jason?

    • @Bryce_Cardinal
      @Bryce_Cardinal  7 месяцев назад

      Mine was relatively harmless because I was stopped at the moment. Had it broke during the pull up that hill there would have been fireworks! haha
      I wanted to give Jason's spare bolt back because I didn't know when I would have been able to get him another one. I lucked out and picked up a new bolt the next day.

  • @joelmodey3594
    @joelmodey3594 7 месяцев назад +1

    Change that bolt out about every 300 miles they aren’t that much 35 bucks when you ride with 6 other boosters you have to have that exact same stuff at least at the pickup we have 2 extra bolts

    • @SeanChuma
      @SeanChuma 7 месяцев назад

      They were talking about an install bolt with it, is that a separate purchase or do they come together as a package?

  • @eviltwin9686

      @@Bryce_Cardinal thanks. I’m just about to 500 on mine. Did you see that there is a new updated bolt from Polaris? Looks like it doesn’t neck down as much and is a different material.

      Mute it. Turn on captions. I can't understand why a motor sport needs to be quiet. If it's too loud, you're too old. Simple. (I'm 47).

      Wise has nothing to do with it. I can't believe how many people want these extreme sledders to keep the briefcase that comes stock. $300 to lose 10 lbs. Easy decision. Mute and turn on captions grandpa.

    • @outfitr9703
      @outfitr9703 7 месяцев назад +1

      @defmc1 plenty of extreme sledders running stock cans and shredding, the 10 lbs. means nothing, grow up sport
