- On February 23, 2024 my dad and I did the Marilyn Lakes Loop on the most beautiful blue bird day. It was a balmy 50 degrees and Diamond Peak was out in full glory!

I love your dad's closing remark at the end. I hadn't really thought about it, but the times when I've had to struggle more on my hikes, have made getting to see and feel what I do that much sweeter. So I think he's on to something there! :)
Last time I skied gold lake trail it was sticky snow Very aggravating
