Lovely video! Does the soap keep the lemon scent??Greetings!
Thank you! No, it doesn't keep the lemon scent but, it slightly retains the scent of the zest.
The color turned out so pretty 😊
I know right! Thank you so much ❤️
I keep learning new things from you, thank you so much ❤
I'm glad you learn a lot here. You're welcome, and thank you so much ❤️
Lovely I will try this one what is a good substitute for soybean oil ? Would Caster oil work or could I add lard
Thank you! You can use Canola oil or olive oil. Castor Oil is okay too but using a high percentage, might give sticky soaps.
@@soothingsoapbubbles thank you I will just add extra 10% olive oil because I have all the ingredients then 😊
@jeanbriggs4372 okay, good. Please, run the new addition through a lye calc to get accurate measurements.
@@soothingsoapbubbles I will need to due to needing 1000g batch thanks for you help much appreciated ❤️
@jeanbriggs4372 okay. You're absolutely welcome ❤️
Do you cure your soaps for 6 weeks?
Yes, I do, depending on the lye concentration. If it's 40% and above, 2-4 weeks would do.
@@soothingsoapbubbles awesome!
