I always thought to start with the details but when I started to watch more portrait videos I understanded that you draw a basic shape of the head first then making you way to the details great video
As someone just getting into portrait drawing, it has been fascinating watching your approach from start to finish. Thank you for sharing. Would love to know how long the portrait took to complete in real time.

I really like how you started with the rough shading areas, blended, and then went into more detail. Really interesting to see. Could you add a clock next time so we can see how long it takes you to draw something like this?

Good drawing. Good skills. Just a few remarks: His forhead hairlines should be slightly lower , and his temple hairlines more towards the right side eye. His right eye is also slightly too big. But in general an awesome drawing.
I always thought to start with the details but when I started to watch more portrait videos I understanded that you draw a basic shape of the head first then making you way to the details great video
Yep.. doing circles and lines first is better before make it detail.
Yeah, block in the major shapes first and draw their relations then dive into details, see the big picture first
This is truly awesome to watch the process, the gift, that makes the subject look alive! A true pleasure to watch the details added through your eyes!

Any aspiring artist needs to watch this and learn that it can be done and that they can do it
This is not pencil drawing . It is sculpting with pencil
yes yes
this is charcoal pencil
No
No
Or is Sculpting drawing with a chisel
You are an artist and i bow down to your talent.

Very nice drawing and skills. The most beautiful part is the initial blocking and formation of the face

He certainly is a pro. No doubt.
Да ладно!?! Вот умничка какой! Как фотография прямо! Гениальный художник!
Всегда был против такого. Есть фотография на бумаге, нет нужно сделать фотографию на бумаге но больше. Человек - ксерокс.
Very amazing artwork, I really love your artwork
NICE DRAWING COUSIN! 10/10 for your sculpting pencol drawing!
I love how the tablet is held by tape 😂, anyways great work, never thought about using a makeup sponge to blend graphite 👍
My thoughts exactly
That tape gives me anxiety
I have just got it after seeing ur comment, 😄😄and its not graphite
You have problems.
I am in love with your technique 😍😍😍
Only a true artist can understand the beauty of every wrinkle
This is what drawing really is: shapes, First, details later. Not artificial schemes with circles and spheres.
Exemplarily captured portrait sir. I salute you.
Excellent work! Truly enjoy watching your drawing from the start to the end of the video. Thanks for sharing.
People who dislike this video must be jealous of his talent and know they can't reach his level

Этому таланту нельзя научиться! Нужно родиться художником!
Неправда, этому долго учатся , никто с такими навыками не рождается , для студентов художественных вузов такой портрет - это норма
