😊 Not sure what you're agreeing with, Joe. But if it's the flute melody, I just want to say that I think it's one of my best. I like long cantabile phrases that maintain internal consistency somehow without being repetitive. Where do melodies come from, though?
@@joerosenfield3092 My guess: odes, poems - first recited , than sung (troubadours). First notation by Church when plainchant evolved into polyphony. Good discussion for our group.
