FIA knocks it out of the park for me. The song is great, very catchy, she has some good charisma and confidence, shows off her voice with the higher notes, then the sign language gives the live performance something great to work with. I can see it being a top 5 contender especially with the jury (🇬🇧)
A bit of context about Fia (if I remember it correctly). She was in the Voice Kids in Germany, in the same year as Toby, and I believe she has a younger sister with a severe disability, so the song is about not needing words to communicate with her. She also used the sign language in all of her performances on tvk Toby also did an insane cover of Arcade, so I'm kind of disappointed with Stand Up because I expected something better
Ngl Believe gives me Sara James vibes and I really want it to do well. The song sounds so good to me already I also love Fia’s song. It’s really interesting and touching when you translate the lyrics I’m glad Germany took a break bc I think the quality overall is better
I don't think so since we have two power girls and weak boys so sorry I want both to represent if that's won't happen then I try to be nice one of girls
My top 5: 1) Fia: I'm deaf/hard-of-hearing myself, and just seeing that, even though she isn't deaf herself (her little sister is, and her family moved to Germany due to that), the song just completely touched me. Fia was also on The Voice Kids Germany (on Lena Meyer-Landrut's team), and did sign languge for all her performances, and her voice is incredible. REPRESENTATION MATTERS! 2) Adriano: Just a good vibe song as someone who doesn't speak German. I do think it reminds me of Netherlands JESC 2019 song, but more modern, and it seems like he has good stage presence. 3) Toby: He has a great voice (in fact, was the same season of The Voice Kids as Fia), but I just think the lyrics are a bit too generic, but not in a 'I've heard them before', but more of a 'I could probably write this if I was given the same "brief" as he was'. It also kinda reminds me of Australia's JESC 2017 act, but worse. 4) Lenny: Much like you, I don't like rap, but at least this can be worked on. It does look like he might have a bit of stage fright, though that might also just be how rappers perform. Just was lacking the energy needed for a rap song. 5) Rahel: It seems like they gave us the chorus/post-chorus instead of first verse and chorus, so maybe it's better, but this snippet doesn't do anything for me. The words seem very generic (as in 'I've heard this before'), and I feel like it would end up in a similar position to Susan. Overall, an okay selection, but at least you can work with most of these songs to make them better.
@@EurovisionwithJudeKennedyfia is the representative and watch her reaction she told us about her feeling when she got suprsied about her jesc 2023 (she comed before school her parents meet her with a sign you travel to the Nice France and she couldn't believe it and she thanked all of them who supported her much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Fia is best choice for Germany and I will support her definitely. My winner is Rahel ❤❤❤❤❤ But i Like fía too but it was too hard to choose If somebody dont agree with me then write about your thoughts My top 5 for this national performance 1 Rahel Believe 2 Fia ohne Worte (Without words) 3 Toby Stand Up 4 Alessandro Be my girl 5 Lenny Lieben lernen (love to learn)
This is actually a pretty good selection in my opinion! I think that Fia or Rahel should win but I have to admit that my guilty pleasure of these is Adriano’s song
Rahel seems to have the strongest vocals but "Believe" doesn't really do anything for me. It sounds like one of these songs that are meant to be impressive and meaningful but are actually just something that you already know. I have a feeling that she's going to be the juries pick. My pick would be Fia, she seems like a sweet girl and I like the elements of sign language.
A pretty solid selection. No bad songs but no amazing songs. And since all of them are demos they all have loads of potential to be made into a good entry (maybe not Be My Girl. My top 5: 5: Be My Girl: boring but kinda fun. Very enjoyable performer though. 4.5/10 4: Lieben Lernern: unique song and style (rap is unique even for ESC) and the song is quite good if boring. A very talented rapper and singer and a cool instrumental. 6.5/10. 3: Stand Up: really inspiring sound to it and his voice is solid. 7/10. 2: Unhe Worte: really unique performance style (love the sign language) and a really good song. 7.5/10. 1: Believe: great vocals and an epic feel that I like. Everything is just good in this and I really like it. 8/10.
Kinda underwhelmed by them all, but they are just demos so hopefully the final version will be much better. My favourite is the hip-hop one because of how different it is. Songs aside, why in heaven's name are you wearing a thick jumper and whatever layer underneath in this heat?! 😎🌞
My top 5 so far: 1. "Believe" 2. "Ohne Wrote" 3. "Lieben lernen" 4. "Be my girl" 5. "Stand Up" I think Germany can actually make a better result than 12 place if they will choose well. Rahel could be liked by JESC juries, Fia rated higher by Online Voting. "Lieben lernen" is good child rap, but not the best. "Be my girl" and "Stand Up" mean next bad result
Fia is just so authentic and wholesome with the message and cute voice! (almost heavenly in the high notes) That’s just pure talent✨
I'm so happy that Fia is Germany's Favourite by far

At this point Fia's song is the most interesting one and it would be good to have sign language at JESC
Fia does this because of her sister. She is almost deaf she explained this when she was in the voice kids
I love this so much! The representation is so important!
