Arsenal Football Club were formed in 1886 and amassed 13 League titles, 14 FA Cups. Some of their greatest players include: Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams, Ian Wright, Robert Pires, Liam Brady, Patrick Vieira, Cliff Bastin and Charlie George.
Massive credit to Edu who has grown impeccably into his role. Fantastic duo with Arteta. Credit to all the other arsenal staff behind the scenes as well.
I like his way of doing things personally. Go get the guy and his family at the airport, welcoming his family, bring them to Arteta, show him the facilities
They have genuine love & passion for the club after being a big part of the club’s history. That’s really important.

Love these BTS videos, they really give you the impression that Edu and Mikel actually run things and are involved, Edu brings him in, Mikel takes him further to do the medical, Edu takes care of the family, it's a small thing but you never think of those micro-encounters when you think of transfers. Just feels like a very 'homey' atmosphere. Welcome JT!!

People forget how young these players are and how scary it is to join a new team in a different country.
I remember my first day of first corporate job when I was 23. I was a kid and scared. I’m 29 now, and I think I’m still a kid and scared sometimes.

Those late Wenger years was painful to watch on the pitch but we didn't know that 3 of those in those teams would actually be catalyst to us awakening. Arteta, Mertesacker & Wilshere - Nowhere near among our best players in history but they definitely are Gunners through & through.
I think all three of those players wanted to win while playing under Wenger but were just not good enough to do so, but tactically they know what it takes.
They werent big players indeed but they are really intelligent and know what to do with the club. Hence why they are coaches
@@ZauchiI wouldn’t say those players specifically were why we weren’t good enough, they actually saw some us come back to a bit more success. They could definitely play a part in a successful team. We had periods where our attack was good but defensively not good and vice versus in other times, for several years we never had all the pieces and we’d sell our best players.
These videos are so good cos they allow us to feel connected to the whole process and not just feel like spectators. We get to understand how our club works and really see how classy they are.

@@skyofwar123 The team played better with him in it - but the problem was his injury record. In these times you need your best players available all the time (except for minor knocks which might keep them out for a game of two). We've had several players in the past whose long term injuries held us back and it has cost us dearly.

What we're seeing (even though it's sport) is a lesson in corporate etiquette. First impressions make a thousand impressions, I'd love a psychologist to break down this video. Although it's behind the scenes, we're still shown what they want us to see but the initial contact stands out - especially when MA and EG interact and show the player/family how strong their bond is.
