I really liked Mysore. It's big enough to have everything but small enough to avoid a lot of issues larger Asian cities face. Really enjoyed our time there.

If you are still around a quick tip to travel between cities is you can take the bus from the state road transport organization and for karnataka its KSRTC which have air conditioned non stop services to all major towns and can be booked online or via booking offices across towns. These provide reliable and economical service without getting scammed
Also from Mysore there is a FLYBUS service which drops you directly to Bangalore international airport which can be used as its very convenient, book the same way, cheers

Thank you so much 🙏🏻 we mostly moved around with private cars. Our local friends supported us a lot while we were in town. Mysore is an amazing city with great people and great food. Will definitely return.

@@rebornabroad good to know. However this is a general tip... the two main modes of long distance travel other than flights are the rail and bus and one can book train via irctc and there is a foreigner quota as well and bus bookings via state (RTC's) transport unit web sites and if one has an UPI it's super easy. Private operators to be preferred last based on the ratings in the red bus app which is the most reliable one...

I definitely see the value! It's prebiotic. I am in Gangtok now the food is more Insuranced by Tibet. Very good. Loved Mysore also incrible food. Coorg as well.

@@rebornabroad Enjoy the thrills of Gangtok and Sikkim, its close to Tibet and China and influenced by both. Stayed there for a year when i was 12, have great memories of that place..waterfalls, trek thru hills/forest, food, monasteries, Yak safari, ......if you are not a teetotaler try their beers, they make the best beers in India (HIT beer is one suggestion)
