- Royal Caribbean's brand-new Wonder of the Seas debuted in March 2022 and after sailing a Summer season in Europe, the ship will reposition to her home at Port Canaveral Florida. As one of the first guests to enjoy this incredible ship, I stayed in a Central Park View Balcony Stateroom, my first time in this category onboard an Oasis Class ship.
In this complete tour of the category 2J Central Park View Balcony #11601 onboard Wonder of the Seas, we'll highlight everything from storage, comfort features and more to give you a much better idea of what to expect if you are planning to book this category for your own cruise.
Also check out my 3-Part Series of highlights onboard Wonder of the Seas:

Thank you for this.Great help! Looks beautiful. Can't wait for our cruise in September
Hi grainnefurlong7874, thanks for watching. Have a great cruise!
Great tour!
Hu jasonlangdon5141, thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
It's beautiful.
Hi 1 minute comics wala Hollywood Comics-Cult Movies, thanks for watching.
One of the things I love about central park are the night concerts so it would be cool to sit on the balcony for that. Could you hear it of the door was closed? The only thing I don't like it being across from other balconies and I think I would miss the ocean
Hi Darla, I could hear the music from Central Park faintly with the door closed. This was my first time in this category. I usually get ocean view balcony rooms, but I Royal Up'd from an inside at such a great price.
Looks amazing and I hope everybody have great day
Thanks, you also have a great day!
Thank you so much ❤
Hi janettefernandez7484, thanks for watching.
Thank you!
Hi The Cruise Mermaid, thanks for watching.
I dont mind, any room is good because you will only be there for sleeping and the rest of the time you enjoying all the activities from the 🚢 😉
Hi ndy817, thanks for watching. I think you'll find most any room is quite comfortable.
Love it
Hi Vilmas Vacation, thanks for watching.
Wow
Hi Kai Luo, I really enjoyed that stateroom, but I did miss the ocean views.
Yea I do like ocean view rooms
Are all the Central Park balconies private or do they connect to other rooms?
Hi cadenadams6611, thanks for watching. They are all private except for the fact that other people on their balconies across the Central Park can see you when you're out there. If you have two side-by-side rooms the balcony will connect via an opening partition in most cases. There are also a small number of rooms in this category that connect with doors inside the rooms.
I booked a central park balcony on deck 12 for a cruise soon. Any concern about noise from up above?
Hi FNmamba24, thanks for watching. With the balcony door closed, the sound from the band on the pool deck was not a concern.
Did you have to complete the Spain health form? Is that how you get the qr code? I'll be on the Wonder next month.
Hi Chris, thanks for watching. I cruised in the Caribbean from Port Everglades, Florida, so no need for that form.
Ugh, really don't like looking into rooms on the other side. Would miss the ocean going by as is typical on outward facing balcony.
Hi Simon, thanks for watching. Also not my preference, I got this room on Royal Up from an inside for almost nothing and as a single.
Is room9432 view if park
Hi LindaChaffee-cd5pu, thanks for watching. 9432 is a connecting interior stateroom (no view).
can you have 3 people in this room?
Thanks for watching. Some rooms in this category can accommodate up to 4 guests, the one I was in 11601 is only for 2 guests.
I'm so disappointed we were assigned this room 😢
Hi Ishmyla, thanks for watching. No need to be disappointed, unless you were hoping for something completely different. Did you use Royal Up?
@@TalkingCruise no, we used the GTY Balcony rate but it wasn't clear that rate was separate from the GTY Ocean View rate. I really don't like other people being able to see on our balcony and potentially inside the cabin, nor do I want all the noise from Lido. At night we love to sit out and watch the water and obviously can't do that (or be topless). They want $2000 for an upgrade so we are stuck with it. Thanks for your review though, it was helpful. The room is bigger than I thought at least.
They typically use the verbiage "neighborhood balcony" for balconies facing inwards and "ocean view balcony" for outward facing balconies. Aside from having less privacy and of course seeing the ocean, the central park experience is still nice.
