Even at it's most "daring times" the music used to have the ambiguity of anticipation and sensuality, even if it wasn't necessarily songs in the realm of love in an everlasting kind of way. As a young man, I've designated myself as to not having much hope of meeting a woman who can embrace a certain aspect of classy but not flashy & private affairs remaining something unspoken, unless we're being "playful" amongst ourselves. I'm very...I won't say picky...but only want to find somebody who operates on that same frequency, once I am competent enough (financially and can plan a future) to want to marry & start a family.
I just came across a shorter version of this poem in a book I was reading. I found it pretty inspirational and moving. It pretty much only had the end of the poem, but I wanted to look up more to find out more about it. This man is completely brilliant and I've quickly become a fan of his work! It's a shame I hadn't found it earlier.
