Ohara Onsen, Kyoto - Guest house with hot spring with excellent cost performance! Ohara Sanso

We stayed at Ohara Sanso, a cost-effective hot spring inn where you can stay for about 10,000 yen per night including half board!
The hot pot with plenty of Ohara vegetables, rice, and Kyoto ingredients is really delicious, and I highly recommend this inn to those who value cuisine.
The hot spring water was nice and warm.
The footbath cafe next door, which is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, is also very nice.
Please note that this is a guest house, so there is no excessive service like that of a ryokan.

Access from Kyoto
60 minutes by bus from JR Kyoto Station, or 20 minutes by bus from Kokusaikaikaikaikan Station on the Karasuma Line.
