The custom theme song surprised me, great job.
lol. Thank you!
Turned out awesome.
I like the 2nd one best.
the first was a rolling pin ive had here for years wondering what to do with it.
Awesome job Patrick as usual.
thank you sir!
They both turned out awesome
thank you sir!!
Do you have a video on how you set up the rotary? Cause I want my rotary to engrave in Collin’s like yours does.
Hey Patrick, the graphic of the angry bo nam ma, sure looks cool. Ok, im outta here. I gotta split. Later.... Greg
i see you slipping outta here!
Nice video and like someone else mentioned, I like the second engrave just a little bit better. You mentioned rolling the angry banana on some dough BUT also @12:31 you mention it's Folk Art. I'm assuming it's not food safe with the finish on it. BTW, I tried your link to the HAO-TIAN UV laser but my virus program tags it as a 'fake store' and I can't find the machine on Amazon.
Polyurethane is food safe once it cures but not for cutting applications- should use Tung oil or Salad bowl oil finish for cutting applications. Polyurethane forms a layer finish so if cutting on it you would get pcs of the finish in food and thus the reason for oil finish which just soaks in and won’t flake off. Hope this helps.
yeah, i wouldnt use the finished one on food, i would use the bare wood.
i am putting walrus oil on the bare wood. its food safe and provides an excellent finished look on bare wood.
@@LSEngraving polyurethane in its finished state is absolutely safe- I, like you, wouldn’t either. But government has stated it safe as long as cured and not for use on any cutting surfaces- to each their own on the use of it period, I only use salad oil finish on anything that’s to come into contact with food. I’m a cabinetmaker retired and have made hundreds if not thousands cutting boards, salad bowls and an occasional rolling pin with fancy handles , fruit bowls and wooden cookware and due to insurance they mandated oil finish.
Just getting into lasers…are laser engraved things like rolling pins/cutting boards for decoration or can they be used as an everyday tool? Thanks.
Yes and yes! Thank you for watching!
How do the handles come off?
usually they are on a threaded rod, or pressure fit.
