I’m probably in the minority, but I can’t get behind the current cherry and pistachio trends. I took your recommendation and picked up JLo Still; will probably start trying to discover new “old” scents for a bit but always appreciate you being our sensei for the latest and greatest!
I can't do Cherry or Pistachio either. I can't do the synthetic Tuberose or Jasmine fragrances that have been trending for the last 5 years, too. I'm discovering old gems like Still... CK One... Eternity. They work so much better for me.
It's been about a week since I received the Vanille Caramel. The first spray, it was complete suntan oil, like Hawaiian Tropic. The coconut was really prominent. I let it set and it is already quite a bit better, but I hope it continues to improve. It's not quite as tanning oil as it was, but it's now kind of a play-doh/vanilla/doll head/caramel combo. I hope the vanilla and caramel develop more, but, in the mean time, it is an okay scent, maybe good for layering. It was under $8 so, can't really complain.
@@missmegan3694 It's not the best performer. After an hour, you can tell you sprayed something if you get your nose right up on it. I haven't tried it on clothes because it seems like it has the potential to stain, it's kinda oily. Maybe it will improve after it sits a bit longer. I'm going to get it back out again in a month.
Yeah that cherry note is pure cough-sweets 😅 it seemed to change a lot on my skin but I was rather disappointed. So many perfumes promising Pistachio and then drowning it out with other notes!

I wonder if it's the trend left behind by gurlain l'homme ideal. That cherryish almond accord became a new classic.
