Never mind the sound, this is a brilliant video showing you what you enjoy. And what a well behaving dog you guys have there, he/she put the biggest smile on my face this week. Thank you for sharing!
Hello from central Florida. Living near the Gulf of Mexico and all the concerns that accompany our beaches, I appreciate the way you take only what you need for your meal. Thank you for your way of living.
Your dad is a very interesting man and I love that you comment on all his videos! Hope you guys have a lovely time and I await with bated breath for the next video :)
Your dad is an awesome educational person I love doing what he does except for cooking it because I’m a child and I’m not aloud to yet but I love the videos your dad should be VERY proud
Absolutely a man after my on heart. Love it, Mun. I come from north Wales, and cook spider crabs on the beach every summer. Nothing better Craig. Fab channel!
How awesome to see you back Craig and with both your boys and of corse your gorgeous dog...I love watching your videos as I live no where near the sea and would love nothing more than to be able to go foraging like you do so seeing you on your adventures is great keep up the good work please 😀😀 Teresa
Hello.. :) Audio video editing blah blah doesn’t matter. I watch your videos for the beautiful places you take us to, the great foraging experience and the sheer joy of connecting with nature, through your amazing videos of course. It’s always a joy to watch you and Llew. Keep up the good work!
I have a great time Mathew, I am about to launch my foraging business www.coastalforaging.co.uk ,feel free to have a look, I also started posting on Instagram yesterday, regards Craig
After travelling on the Tube here in London and watching the slow death of our once great capital city on a daily basis, watching Craig Evans reminds me all is not lost on our Island. Yet.
Great comment ,thank you Templar Knight, I would not to live or work in London, it is a great capital city, but for me the occasional visit is enough, regards Craig
Craig, Your posts are such a inspiration and have given me a much needed wake up call to pass onto my 3 young grandsons some of the knowledge my father/grandfather taught me about the coast/fishing. Because of YOU !!! Me and the wife drove to Herne Bay last month to enjoy a wonderful sea food lunch on the pier and scout out somewhere to stay with our 3 grandsons for a holiday so we can show them how truly wonderful our coasts are. I doubt I would have done this if I had not starting watching your channel. Thank You.
The issues are not a problem for most of us i guess. Its your foraging knowledge and the cooking expeditions that we all look forward to. Glad to see this video and cant wait to see more of it. Thanks in tonnes Craig for your efforts Craig and Welcome back :)
Good to see you back with a new video! Bless your sons for assisting in production. :) Your website looks really good, wish I was in the same continent to take a foraging lesson. :)
Hi craig smashing video, just got round to watching this due to holiday! Amazin colours in the dish and looked superb 👌🏻 i especially look forward to the foraging for the seafood and crustaceans, could watch it for days! Bravo again sir 👏🏻
Coastal Foraging With Craig Evans hi Craig, thanks for replying. I wanna ask a question.. so i was wondering, did the green mussels who sticking up to the rocks is still alive and can you eat it? Thankss!!!
Absolutely loving your vidoes on here Craig. Many thanks again for directing me via your Instagram page. Even got hubby hooked and watching now! Our dog barks at Lew when he see's him on your videos as we cast live to our TV 😊
Another good meal. you did well on the prawns. sand fire looks just like glass wort/sea asparagus that grows in big mats around here. taste's good pickled or thrown in with the rest like you did. hard to beat a good meal on the beach with friends. Jared
Plenty of prawns around this year Jared,we have a few species of samphire growing locally and it is also know as glasswort or sea asparagus. I agree it is hard to beat a foraged meal cooked in the open, regards Craig
Pepper dulse sounds like it would be delicious as a soup ingredient, or chopped fine and made into chimichurri style sauce for seafoods. Lovely video as always Craig, it's good to see you back.
That's exactly my plan in one of my next videos furryshrimp, I intend to cook oysters and use chopped pepper dulse with other foraged ingredients as a dipping sauce.Watch this space lol, regards Craig
I know i havnt commented in a while, but i still love your videos, i am currently trying to learn everything i can about foraging, i find it fascinating that there are so many things that are edible. Its a great skill to learn incase of a emergency. My family likes to go camping, and it would come in handy if something happened and we were stranded. I love watching your videos because there are so many things to learn from you. And the adorable dog is a bonus. Thank you so much for taking time out of your schedule to make these amazing videos. Have a nice day and im sorry for this being so long.
Awesome job Craig! There's almost nothing better than fresh raw prawns!! Also I've missed your videos! Thats great your son is helping you out with the editing.
Thank you Taku, the raw prawns and pepper dulse was something else, congratulations on your channel, great content and it is starting to get appreciated, regards Craig
Coastal Foraging With Craig Evans within immediate cities we have too many squatting boats dumping waste in the water and too many tanker traffics. Controversial topic in Vancouver, Canada. Our country is also split on environmental topics with oil right now. Hope to visit your neck of woods!
I absolutely love your videos, they are very entertaining and educational. Mouth watering dishes also! You have a fan from Portugal now! Do you have goose barnacles in Wales ? It’s one of my favorites. Looking forward to more videos! Thanks for making them, I know it’s hard work and takes a lot of prepping.
Thank you for your kind word Rita Rita,we do not have the same species of Goose Barnacles as you do,but we sometimes get pelagic Goose Barnacles blown in from the open Atlantic (they live on floating driftwood etc). I have foraged in Portugal in the lagoons around Faro (val de lobo),many more videos to come, regards Craig
When I was a kid we went to the beach on a biology trip. I was eating the raw prawns the biology teacher was not impressed : -) That was a fine plate of seafood you had there
Cheers Trojs (great videos by the way) .Education should come from many sources, conventional teaching along with your own experiences and research,we should all think outside the box and question convention as you rightly did with the raw prawns.Keep up the good work, regards Craig
Cheers Craig, taking my three little girls foraging at the beach tmrw, bought the edible seashore book and made a log stove really inspiring Good work fella😀👌
