They bring up Zoro's injuries but never mention that Sanji has several broken ribs as well. Usopp took a pretty heavy head shot back in his village that's probably still not entirely healed as well since we have no real sense of time scale atm.
TBF, even though Ussop's been scaredy cat this whole time, he was the only one yet from the crew to actually have been able to save somebody in this arc. He's pretty much doing all the work so far. You can talk shit about him but HE'S THAT DUDE!
cant wait for you guys to see the rest of what this series has to offer, its an absolutely amazing series, and you two are really interesting to watch. keep up the great work
You'll see this a lot in One Piece, where Oda (the author) will find random excuses or ways to keep Luffy out of the main fight, so that Luffy doesn't finish the fight quickly and the other characters get their time to shine. So every time for some reason Luffy is prevented from fighting the main guy, I'm like "so this time Oda used this excuse" lol
Fishmen are naturally stronger than humans. But Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are not normal. They are abnormally stronger than the rest even Arlong makes them more powerful.
Random marines are sh*it, just like random pirates, theyre strongers than villagers cause they usually fight and train, but that's all. If a random man from Usopp's village has 10 points of power, a random pirate has 20. Now, when they compare the strenght of fishman, they say they're 10 times stronger than REGULAR humans. Maybe young and fit humans, but randoms anyway. But people like luffy, zoro or sanji already have 10, 20 or 30 times the physical power of regular humans xD Even Don Krieg, being a "weak" villain, can probably deal with 20 or 30 marines at the same time if they're low ranks. In the One Piece world, you have Humans (like Usopp or Nami, fighting with weapons and intelligence) and SUPER humans (Luffy, Zoro, Arlong, even Krieg, Gin, or the 3 Arlong officers). Then you also have Monsters like Mihawk and many others that are in a completely different league right now. I'm just saying this because I see you usually tras*htalk on Krieg and I kinda understand this, I don't even like him, but I think luffy at this point is obviously stronger than him, but not by that much difference. You still have many episodes to see the real difference in the scale of powers that is shown in the series, and luffy's progression, and it's nothing compared to the difference between Krieg, Arlong and Luffy right now.
Thought Zoro died for a sec.
17:25 What a reaction… 😅

This is the arc that really started to hook me into the series and then from here on, it just got better and better!
