I only discovered The Budgeteers in 2020, this middle of the pandemic, stuck at home and utterly depressed. I just binged watched all the $1k series and became obsessed. I had no idea at the time you had switched to the solo channel until I had finished all the episodes LOL, but was so happy to catch you right before you started the 77 Provinces challenge. I sometimes go back and rewatched old episodes, especially Sri Lanka. Love everything you do... and remember that some of us are here because we just like watching YOU so don't overthink the camera stuff mate. Excited for Switzerland and Bali!!

This video certainly made me laugh. It is always nice to see the growth of someone in any skill or activity. We always find (or at least I do) that we compare ourselves to people ahead of us in the journey and never to where they were at the same time. I hope the course is a success.

Fantastic Paddy. I enjoyed the look back and the recap very much. Looking forward to the Swiss experience. I lived and worked there for number years back in the late 70's and early 80's. Zurich and my favorite, Geneva. Living right on Rue du Mont Blanc overlooking the lake and the Rolex factory from my apartment balcony. It was a very special time in my life. It was great to see the evolution and remembering the videos that made me start following you. You're at your best when it's just you being you - remember that! Glad to see that you're doing a next level in Switzerland. The wife and I were there at the end of March for a few days on our way down to Rome and we both now want to go back and just explore for a while. Take care, enjoy the journey and ignore that self-doubt because you got this! Safe travels always.
Funny to see you in the old days starting in 2008 mate, i started in 2005 and yes it was on Video 8 tapes, which i made digital via a firewire cable to a PC with editing software back then. End the editing software was already on the market mate. Still use the same brand this day then back in the day, but i never made video's for YT or was in front of the camera. Always filming others on roadtrips etc. It was about 2010 that i went to a digital camera and started filming myself sometimes and talking to the cam. Then stopped filming and editing from 2014 untill late 2020 when i started watchin YT and found your channel mate, travelling all 77 on Dreamy. Keep the Dreams alive buddy, thanks for all your great and entertaining creativity on YT and as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers Paddy 🙌🍻
started watching your video during my visit to bangkok last year..77 province in thailand for still the best of all your video..the authenticity,i mean..i have seen the other countries many years before but thailand were still the best..and yes your collaboration with the budgeteers also the best..
2015 1080p...some things never change 😂 In regards to your point about not overly caring, I appreciate this as a viewer. There are some RUclips channels I no longer watch because their content became overly produced. It looks too perfect and too scripted. I watched these RUclipsrs initially because their content seemed raw. It was relatable. They didn't have the camera crew, the expensive camera and perfect editing. It was just them and their phone/GoPro experiencing things that I wanted to experience even if it was as basic as walking several blocks in Bangkok unedited.
The guy I signed up for was an adventurous school teacher from Chiangmai ready to take on all the Provinces in Thailand on a clapped out Honda Dream. That's the Paddy i shall always remember.

You are by far the most cinematic, easy to watch, natural, authentic filmmaker. Your content is far better than anything Ive seen on the the Travel Channel. Really glad I found you in 2020, you are always improving and leveling up every video, even if you doubt yourself, you have proven you are doing it right.
