They started using it recently and its not that often. + for that comeback the fandom didnt work together some liked it other didnt. Thid is why i thought korea wasnt ready at that time .....
At first I was iffy about this song also until reading the lyrics and reading the review of the blog "what the hallyu" about Badman (you have to read their reviews of B.A.P) B.A.P has this thing they do not sing about "nothing" even for their love notbaplike songs the words used feel never "empty" and B.A.P lives always make up for a lot of things (I almost liked hajima and crash) and look at this Bang Yong Guk charisma. I absolutely love this boy behaviour. I may be wrong but he is one of raaaaare (if not the only one) kpop singer who does not give me the "racist" vibe. He may not be good at using words but he does not scream fake for me and deeply he acknowlegde how our black forefathers and ancestors are the basement who have built music we sing today with absolutely nothing but their soul and he educate himself a lot about other culture. I hope he will keep learning about black culture and how deep and layered it is and respect black legacy which will help him being better and better
Yes he is one of the few that seem to know where hip-pop came from and the real leaning of it. I will get hate for that but Gd zico and some other idols are just "playing house" for me. Where is the real intention of hip hop on song like tough cookies ? I may be biased but yongguk's lyric are always great and reflect emotion we all have experienced. They have a soul.
Tell me about it Yong Guk does not necessarly rely on technics and "perfect freestyle" to delivers but a lot on how he feel and his soul. That is one reasons sometimes people think he lacks some oomph "punch" compared to other rappers but the others just don't do it for me cause too "show off". On this matter Zelo sometimes as rapper (because of his LTE rap and freestyle) is ranked above BYG by some people but I like that Zelo follows into BYG steps in becoming a great lyricist and look up to BYG as a role model to speak his soul as a rapper I love that about them. One really feel how the dongsengs frankly respect Yong Guk and how Himchan admires him also
