My favourite World Endurance Championship or WEC for short is every single one from 2012 to present day. Watkins Glen AKA The Glen in Upstate New York, where they make steamed hams, is the best race track in the United States of America. Also, Francios Cevert is the greatest French person of all time, apart from Rene Arnoux, Alain Prost, and Albert The 5th Musketeer AKA Albert De Parmagnan. And also, 1989 is the best Le Mans ever, along with 1965, 1966, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1981, 1994 and 1995. The Le Mans 24 Hours is my favourite race of the year and my favourite sporting event of the year too. Le Mans is my favourite race track in the world along with The Glen AKA Watkins Glen and Bathurst. Jim Clark and Ayrton Senna are two of my favourite drivers of all time. They are two of the greatest drivers who ever lived. Colin McRae and Walter Rohrl & Henri Toivonen are three of my favourite rally drivers of all time. They're tree of the greatest rally drivers who ever lived. Burt Munro along with Freddie Spencer are two of my favourite motorcycle riders of all time. They are two of the greatest motorcycle racers who ever lived. The Ford GT40 and the Ford Mustang are two of my favourite Ford's of all time. Two of the best Ford's ever made. Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty are two of my favourite NASCAR drivers of all time and two of my favourite Amercians too. The Dodge Viper RT/10, the McLaren F1 and Mini Cooper are my favourite cars of all time. Michael...bro...you were living 'rent-free' in that guys brain! Oh...I bought an 04 Z06 and a membership to AMP. Videos will follow when I sort out the zoom and light settings. So far I'm just exceeding 100mph across the starting line on hot laps.
It’s a fun little track, but I wouldn’t go out of your way, if you’re also hitting up Trackhouse and AMP. Those are competiton level tracks and are a lot more challenging. However, MCKP is planning to build their own 19 turn FIA competition track next year! Let me know what you think of all 3 if you decide to hit up Music City on your way. I absolutely love AMP and haven’t been back to Trackhouse since the 2018 12HR! I do know that MCKP is modeling their facitlty after Trackhouse, so expect good things in the future from them! @ Trackhouse is my favorite track! I’ve won many races out there back in the day when I lived around Mooresville. Some guys around the Memphis area wanted me to run the 12 hour with them at Trackhouse back in the day, but I always had something scheduled on the 12 hour enduro race weekend.
Wow, I definitely know the guys you’re talking about! AMP put professional lights up this summer and really hope they announce a 24H next year. Also heads up: AMP now runs the short course ONLY for general public races. Basically, the last two turns are closed off, due to insurance, and too many n00bs crashing out in the last corner )which is the most dangerous). A shame bc they won’t let any experienced racer run the full course during public sessions. Also: cameras mounted on the helmet exterior are banned.

Track worth going to? I’ll be going to Trackhouse and AMP in two weeks and I might wanna squeeze this place into my schedule.
