A UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) reveals the enemy's locations on the minimap, and can be used by getting a 3 killstreak...assuming you have it as a selected killstreak option. Destroying the opposing team's UAV is a fairly easy way for both new and experienced players to help their team win.

You can destroy uav, counter-uav and advanced UAV with SMRS and FHJ-18. SMRS Is used for UAVs although FHJ-18 is use for stronger scorestreaks example "VTOL Warship, Stealth Chopper and others" you can shoot every scorestreaks with a gun but it will take longer.
SMRS: Regular Launcher
FHJ-18: Seeking missle
Thumper: Destroy - Sentry Guns, Shield Turret and Transform Shield; Thumper is a grenade launcher for close range

Excuse me guys, every time a UAV was on , I tried to spot it in the sky but I only managed to see it once out of 15/20 times. I understood how to shoot it, but is there a way for spotting it more easily? Thankyou!

It used to be really easy to spot it when the game was first introduced but when people started learning to destroy it... now its abit harder to spot it.

Sasho Ok I've just found the best way when to start watching for a UAV in the sky: it is when the background voice says "Heads up, you may be spotted!". I had never known the meaning of that warning, actually, but now we know that it announces the enemy UAV.

Tip: Play ranked instead of multiplayer, I played like 5 multiplayer games and not one uav because I was killing them a lot and also they weren't very good, in ranked ppl use uavs much more
