I heard that U shouldn't use any grease, or if U are using it any way U should use ceramic grease because heat don't change it's properties.( Copper can stick to backing plate and damage it)
Dont use Copper Grease on the back side of a brake disc mounting face as this can increase the Disc run out lead to DTV (Disc Thickness Variation) causing brake judder. Its a good conductor of heat so its best for backside of brake pads but not on disc faces.
Informative video for the person who wants to have a go themselves, however given its a ‘How to’ I would go the extra mile and actually use axle stands and show how to torque up the fastenings. Also for your own safety, get yourself some decent Vinyl gloves and certainly wear a dust mask if wire brushing any Brake components 👍
Hi. I need to remove my calipers and then reattach them. I read in a Fiat manual that when you depress the brake pedal, this will disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder so fluid won’t keep coming out of a brake line after removing a caliper. Is this true?
Sorry I know this is off topic but, just bought a damaged 2017 500 lounge with OSR quarter damage and think it's going to need a new quarter panel. Question is, are these later quarter panels same as earlier models? This is the one with body colour inserts in centre of rearlights. I'm finding conflicting information online, some sellers saying 2007 - will fit but other places quoting 2007 - 2015 only. I'm not a Fiat expert so any help appreciated 👍
Couldn’t say for certain but I can’t see that it would be different. They say the same about the front wings but they are identical. As for the light apertures a set of series 4 lights will fit in a series 3 so that can’t be any different. If it was me, I would take a gamble.

Not heard that one before.

@@jamesp2293 I’m sorry, but I have no idea.
Excellent video👌.....future video of the notorious rear drums and shoes soon?😬
They rarely need replacing so hopefully not.
