Hi Daniel, it is supposed to be under the Equipment design, not sure if you are using a newer version and it has been moved, my advice is to search the help in your current version. If you still cant find it send me a not with your version number abd i can try to assist.
Aveiro Zinou this must be done in the column environment. you access it through the columns form with the button on the bottom. then it's just like regular hysys from there.

Aveiro Zinou this may or may not be possible at the pressure the column is operating at. You can go to the specs page and try shifting your spec to condenser temperature instead of one of the specs you have currently. This will allow you to set the temperature to what you desire but you may find that there is no feasible solution unless you adjust the column operating pressure.
@Adrian .. im simulating a real process and they put an exchangre (in my case i want just colling the gas) so i want to know if puting a tempurature for the condenser is just the same like puting a cooler or its diffrent ...ty for ur reply again
Aveiro Zinou if they added an additional cooler you can add it in the column environment as per my first reply. However if you just want to simulate the additional cooling duty then adjusting the condenser temperature will have the same effect.

Sir i am not getting option in my Hysys for Tray Sizing under the equipment design. What should i do for that?
luqman hakeem it may be the version you are using. Search Help for the term tray sizing.

Actually it is kilojoules per hour duty but what is 2.902e+007?
Abdul Ansari it means 29020000 or 2.902 × 10^ 7. It's a hysys convention for engineering notation.
