If Hardcore comes to Bedrock, they BETTER fix the stupid lag caused deaths when you enter nether portals.
That's what I'm saying. If it isn't patched, who the hell's gonna want to play it if you can lose your progress to something that isn't even your fault?
They fixed the other lag death when you are walking along the edges of blocks so might have patched that one too with it.
@@itsmehere1 they didn't patch the nether portal lag yet, I've still seen people dying to it on the reddit lol
@@JAL_EDM oof, well the post he shows on screen they also said that they are working to eliminate bugs too, I would imagine that is priority #1 before actually adding it to bedrock, eliminating all the random death bugs.
@@JAL_EDM I've died a few times loading into the nether before I am able to move even with fully decked out netherite armor. I've done a few things to limit the issue but nothing should be able to attack you if you are unable to do anything because you are in a loading screen.
Ideally they'd use now as a chance to make some horse specific and dog specific enchants. Maybe some form of sniffing enchant that lets dogs find buried treasure or fossils underground. jump boost enchants for horses? something like that.
Sniffers should do that

2:23 I believe you can do this because on Java you can put any enchantment you want onto an item if you're in Creative mode. (unless it's exclusive with another enchantment, thus why it didn't let you put Frost Walker on because it had Depth Strider) This is different from Bedrock, where it won't let you put the enchantment on even in Creative (like putting Efficiency on a sword)
It would be cool if you could enchant arrows in an anvil with something like channeling or smite, even sharpness

Wolf armour is stronger than a netherite chesplate because there's only one piece in the set. A full set of netherite gives +20 protection, almost double the wolf armour
Armor wise yes, but much less durability, no toughness and no knockback resistance

Dude, imagine fire aspect on dog armour making them light whatever they attack on fire or even thorns or smite

Wolf Pro Tip: You can feed tamed wolf/dog fish (cooked or raw) to heal them and it won't put them in breed mode.😉

Wolf armor should deffinately be able to acsept atleast the protective enchants like protection.
And you know what? Frost walker on wolf armor would propably be great, they could cross water as fast as you do with out needing a boat.
It doesn’t need protection, the wolf is immune to damage until the armor breaks.

I think for this type of armour unbreaking is better
I don’t agree about protection given dog armor gives 20 extra points of health and prevents dogs from taking any damage before it breaks, but stuff like Frost Walker, thorns, feather falling, and other enchantments like that would be cool

You have to use shears to remove the armor from dog because it is tied with a very tight knot.

frost walker didnt work coz its incompatible with depth strider
and infinity didnt work coz its incompatible with mending
piercing didnt work coz its incompatible with multishot
channeling didnt work coz its incompatible with riptide
flame didnt work probs coz of the fire aspect? i actually dont know...
Probably an enchantment limit is why flame didn’t work, otherwise idk.
Wolf armor is shaping to be a really cool feature! So glad we all voted for the Armadillo, makes the crab and penguin seem useless in comparison
An army of 20 or so armored doggos is surprisingly ineffective against the Warden.... :o

i liked the dirt background on the menus but the end credtis has such a cool end portal background also i cant wait for hardcore mode for bedrock

W update! It didn't seem very cool during Minecraft Live, but the wolf changes are great. The thing is, people with dog armies are going to be so OP is the dogs don't even take damage until their armor breaks...

Honestly, this reminds me of Legacy Edition where you could put any enchantment on any item. Definitely a very cool feature :D now I can smack people with a knockback 2, sharpness 5, shears
i hope the mushroom on the mob regrows over time =D
The colors for the dog armor are cool, I just wish they had a little more texture. The large blots of flat color just looks a little odd
I know many people were upset about the armadillo, but I'm each day happier about it. Can't wait to have a rainbow army with me XD

Fire aspect for dog armour would be crazy. Imagine if anything the dog hit was lit on fire
The Next Beta/Preview is releasing tommorow, hardcore likely wont come tommorow because they said they will release it when they are confident today, dont think that would be in 1 day

Pleasantly surprised at the ui changes. Not expected but very welcome. I believe that a more functional, accessible and also at some points customisable ui helps to improve gameplay and keep players immersed in what they're doing.
I wish the color mixing would come to bedrock :c But dang so excited for hardcore!!!

Hardcore mode? Might give it a try one day. Maybe not immediately, but sometime after all the bugs are worked out.

@silentwisperer I was wondering if you have come across a malfunction bugrock that that makes that last part of that raid play multiple times give more than one totem of undying. It kinda nice. I got 7 totems from one raid.

It kinda makes sense that Mojang would make the dog armor stronger, most of us tame a dog and then leave it in a safe place, usually our base. To make sure our new best friend doesn't get hurt, when the whole purpose to adding dogs in the first place was to make them fight for you. It's a motivator to have dogs used in combat more

Any thing which has durability can be enchanted with mending and unbreaking and dog armour is no exception.

Question: since raid mobs now join existing raids I was wondering if it would be possible to make a farm with a woodland mansion
I would imagine you'd need a Bad Omen farm at least within the spawn radius of the player.
no, mansions dont respawn mobs. they only get a set amount of guys

So I need to build a copper farm because I have feathers from my Wither rose farm, and sticks are super easy to get from my bamboo fuel farm.
Potential new mushroom farm. If the skeletons are able to be bogged that would be a good feature

It's worth noting that Depth Strider and Frost Walker are mutually exclusive of one another.

Perhaps Bedrock will get the UI changes as well? It's been getting updates to the Create New/Edit World screens, so perhaps they'll change the settings menus to be more transparent, allowing us to see the world while changing difficulties on a semi-peaceful world. Silent, I actually use your Blaze farm to get fuel for your Super-smelter, which actually works quite well despite its fuel inefficiency from the Scaffolding burn-time change. If others don't already know, Blaze Rods can smelt up to 12 items in a regular furnace, _but_ did you know that they can smelt up to 24 raw ores in a blast furnace or the same amount of food items in a smoker? That's because blast furnaces and smokers cook ores and food respectively twice as fast as a regular furnace, allowing it to be more fuel efficient.
we have gotten ui changes, but its totally different than what java has lol. idk what they're doing xD
@@silentwisperer There's all this talk about parity between the two versions, yet they aren't even making the menus look _anything_ like each other. The least they could do is make an _attempt_ at combining the two styles into a somewhat pleasant user interface. Even if it turns out to be a bad idea, they could say that they at least tried, and I'd be just fine with that.

If they add Hardcore to bedrock edition, a new death type should be added to the game (and the /damage command), called “bug”, and dying by this type of damage will not end your hardcore world like all other types. That way, people can play on the mode without worrying about randomly losing their world for no reason
How would that work though?

Loading through Nether Portals & the end causes mobs to load in before you giving them time to kill you before you can even move.

My middle kid plays an ersatz hardcore mode on Bedrock already - he deletes his world if he dies. I'm sure he'll be excited to know it's going to become a standard option.
Still waiting for Mojang to add Java-style subtitles to Bedrock. That would be really handy. If any of y'all happen to know of an add-on that adds them, I'd like to know about it...

Finally hardcore mode is coming to bedrock edition a challenge that will finally be worth my time (I've been training for this by playing the hard difficulty on bedrock and if I died I leave the world and delete the world)
And even better have the honour of killing the wither and ender dragon on hardcore mode on bedrock edition as I always wanted to do (and an even better challenge being able to bring the warden to the end and slay it in the end)

I think the armor enchantments should be able to go on the dog armor in all game modes. Everything else, only in creative mode for the memes.
We should be able to make bogged usung mud or something
I feel like we need faster regeneration like in Minecraft java since in Minecraft bedrock is extremely slow to heal... please let's try to get them to put that parity in Bedrock

Allay armor is pointless, they're invincible when holding items and they passively regenerate health anyway
@@EmperorPenguin1217 tell that to Mandy Dee who was killed by a creeper explosion. Natalie Monroe who suffocated in a piston door (probably) and a few others with no names that died while I was transporting them through the Nether.
They should fix the nether portal delay because sometimes i die while on the loading screen

Bringing hardcore to bedrock is a step in the rigut direction. Mojang should be adding features the community already have in the form of mods and how people already play on social media. Skyblock should already be baked into the game.

I saw that pause and the mobs all froze and I jumped out of my seat. I missed the keyword "Java" *cries in bedrock_no_pause*
Still tho.. No news from the bug that change the enchanted armor to some full body texture... Like all of them are covered with the broket armor texture... I know not all of you experience it but me and some people out there need to see this annoying thing nor need to use invisible armor texture pack
