For people in Texas that have property "ethics" such as not shooting females or young boars goes out the window! The difference between this form of hunting and for instance the helicopter hunting of new zealand is one is harvesting animals that occur semi naturally and an attempted eradication.
All this is common skill for an avid hunter in america and I don't know why he says harvested game doesnt go to the table in north American. Anything i harvest, i eat.
Driven hunts with running shots are not that common in most of North America. Also what he meant when he said Americans don't have the same taste for wild game he didn't mean the hunters, he meant the general population buying game meat.
Exactly! What horse sh!t. By law we are REQUIRED to utilize the resources and are banned from profiting from the sale of the meat...unlike the market hunters over there.
I was just stating fact. As someone who had hunted most of America and lives here, I think I know what our ethics are. Everyone I have hunted with has been able to take running shots on deer drives and good at flying targets as well. It may not be law everywhere in America that you have to use all the meat but it is extremely frowned upon to not use the whole animal and have much respect for them. I wasn't trying to take away from your hunting or hunters.
