I worked with individuals prior to adopting a kid on the spectrum but life 24/7 is definitely a different adventure. Evie, you’re an awesome young lady and autism just means God blessed you with a different perspective!
I agree with everything you said I’m a mom of 3. 2 of my children are diagnosed AuDHD one also has sensory processing disorder. My middle child is now being referred out for an autism evaluation as she shows signs. We honestly missed due to her being so calm in nature whereas my oldest and youngest both have such huge personalities yet they are so different from each other it’s pretty crazy to see how Amazingly different they are and yet still diagnosed with the same thing. It’s a lot being a parent to children with AuDHD but definitely rewarding ❤

Our house is many things but dull isnt one of them. Yet we all present so differently. Im sure your kids are benefitting from your attention and sharing their struggles….isolation is so damaging!

In the UK they’ve started putting labels on the shoulder seams where it meets the sleeve. Drives my autistic 22yr old crazy because even if you cut it out he knows where it was, so we get you Evie. Buying clothes can be stressful

You're such a great dad. And my momma was scared of everything too like your mom. I was in a bike accident at age 17. T-bone a car who pulled into a driveway right in front of me. My body went 15 feet and my shoes both came right off and went 23 feet. I still hurt daily after all these yrs. I landed on my back, only 1 scratch on the helmet, and the ambulance driver said I was lucky to be alive. Please be safe.
I can so relate to what your thinking Aaron, I lost my Mom almost 6 years ago and there are things I can do now that when she was alive she couldn't do as she had cancer and she couldn't go too far from home, that was a very emotional video plus Evie you are the sweetest kindest girl in town, such a lovely younger sister, bless your heart
Never rip the security tags off!!!! They have ink them that will not come out of the clothing. Take it back to the store! OR if you have a VERY strong magnet, that should work :)

I think its great that Tristan takes care of his mom! My mom is a surgeon and we are so proud of her. We lost my 22 year old brother last year when he was hit by a drunk driver that was riding a motorcycle. Always be super careful! Good luck...
Keep in mind his mom will no longer be his mom if he is adopted. And to me that's what's sad. He may still help her out but as far as his mother goes when he gets adopted that becomes null and void .

Great shopping trip for Evie. I'm glad you care about motorbike safety. With this please please can you make sure both Tristan and Max wear a proper bike Jacket at all times. I know AZ is hot but you can get proper bike jackets esp for hot weather. I used ride motorcycles and know you need to dress for the slide not the ride.

I hate how accepting the world is to asd and sensory issues now because i didnt get that as a child but also love it because it gives children like Evie a space to grow and thrive in. you can also wrap a hair tie on the bigger side between the top and the material... wrap it tight until it comes off the pants. you have to make sure its on the big side btween the plastic to hold the ink in.
Target security tags can be taken off with a screwdriver just pull the clothes to one side of the tag and on the other side of the tag insert the screwdriver turn and lift til your able to pull up but be careful it does have a needle

Target is the best for sensory clothing. My son who is autistic is very sensory inclined and Target is his go to.
The jeans there have always been my favorite. They are so much more comfortable then any others I’ve found
