Hi. I have a Camera Shop in the south of England. Still sell a few projectors and films. Sadly here in UK film for the camera is not available for a sensible price if at all. As a record collector, mostly 78's and an interest in film, mostly but not exclusively 9.5mm, I was very pleased to see your projector and look forward to more. A true Audio Visual channel. Thanks Robert

Most of the 8mm projector I bought at yard sales won’t let you turn on the lamp unless the motor is on. It has a blower or fan on it to cool the lamp. The lamps get VERY hot while in use. They can get hot enough to bulge the glass bulb-you the have to carefully break the bulb to replace the lamp-of course do this with the projector unplugged and the bulb cool. They can get hot enough to take off skin!!

14:00 I was lucky enough to buy a 100-film lot of 8 mm/Super 8 mm movies from an eBay seller a few years ago as well as lots from other sellers and they were mostly Castle Films movie digests (shorter versions of feature movies with all of the highlights) in black and white with or without sound including:
    - 'Dracula' starring Bela lugosi
    - 'The Return of Dracula'
    - 'Doom of Dracula'
    - 'Frankenstein' starring Boris Karloff
    - 'The Bride of Frankenstein'
    - 'House of Frankenstein'
    - 'Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed'
    - 'Son of Frankenstein'
    - 'Frankenstein Conquers The World'
    - 'I Was A Teenage Frankenstein'
    - 'Frankenstein Versus The Wolfman'
    - 'The Wolfman' starring Lon Chaney Jr.
    - 'The Creature From The Black Lagoon'
    - 'The Day The Earth Stood Still'
    - 'The Spider'
    - 'The Tarantula'
    - 'The Blob'
    - 'The Thing From Another World'
    - 'Dr. Cyclops'
    - 'Dr. Satan' (a robot movie)
    - 'The Mummy' starring Boris Karloff
    - 'The Mummy's Tomb'
    - 'Curse of the Mummy'
    - 'The Invisible Man' starring Claude Rains
    - 'War of the Colossal Beast'
    - 'The Undead'
    - 'Curse of the Demon'
    - 'The Incredible Shrinking Man'
    - 'Jason and the Argonauts' in four volumes
    - 'The 7th Voyage of Sinbad' in four volumes
    - 'The Screaming Skull'
    - 'First Spaceship On Venus'
    - 'Metropolis'
    - 'Nosferatu'
I also have colour and sound Super 8 mm movie digests including:
    - 'Star Wars' in two volumes as well as some single set versions
    - 'The Empire Strikes Back' in two volumes
    - Disney's 'The Black Hole'
    - 'The Planet of the Apes' (Of course! Haha!)
    - 'Beneath the Planet of the Apes'
    - 'Escape from the Planet of the Apes'
    - 'Conquest of the Planet of the Apes'
    - 'Battle for the Planet of the Apes'
    - 'Silent Running' starring Bruce Dern
    - 'Westworld' starring Yul Brynner
    - 'The Magnificent Seven' starring Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, etc.
So, you could say I get a kick out of vintage movie reels. :)

I just bought one because the projector my folks had went bye bye and mom has 8mm film going back to the early 50's. My 8/super 8 projector for some reason just tears up the old film and I'm hoping this one will work.

LIKE 51 which is nifty and fun. I'm a huge fan of vintage projectors and have a number of them (too many of them) to watch movies in 8 mm, Super 8 mm, and 16 mm. and plenty of digest versions of various classic horror and sci-fi movies.
I also have a few 16 mm feature movies including 'Bullitt' on three large reels starring Steve McQueen in one of his iconic roles. :)

Lol because the benevolent host has made it available to you and everyone else today. “Reflect upon your present blessings -- of which every man has many -- not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.” - Charles Dickens
