Wow! There is something unique about how the water splash looks with this lens. I can't quite put my finger on it. And the way the out-of-focus bits look. I would love to see more of these old-lens adaptations onto newer bodies look, going forward. Great job on incorporating the ambient sounds too.
Love this MITCH ! the stillness did it for me
COOLY SLAPS
Name one beach
Best thing I've seen on RUclips all month. You're a huge inspiration man! Keep it up.
Thanks Austin!!
The art of noticing
This dreamy, vibey, and nostalgic all at once. Amazing video.
Wow. The end where you show us the sunset. Best part of the whole video. Amazing stuff

Thanks Stan! Means a lot bro :) Checking out your new video now!
You don't know how much I love these colors, really awesome ❤. I'm trying to learn these things with your RUclips tutorials.
this was so relaxing to watch.
Cheers Alex
Love it bro! Everything from the ASMR intro to the shots with Liane to the ending. Such a calming and soothing vibe! Hope we get to see more of these!
This is sick! Such a calming vibe to it. Makes me think timeless
Cheers Brandon!
You live in such a beautiful part of the world, Mitch! The aperture shifting really gave this video depth while the sunset and city silhoutte shots added a nice establishing kick
This is so aesthetic and calming good job!
This is beautiful
THIS IS ART
This ones so peaceful😌
so good bro, the shots and compositions are perfect, the soundscape was rich and your colour grade was so nice. loved it g
This is great. I really need to pick up an FD 50 1.4 Been wanting one for awhile.
Like seeing GoldCoast from your spot. Never been to Australia but like to one day with long road trip East to West coast. Continue making these types of video too; relaxing, no verbals, and just appreciating the cinemagraphy. Well done Mitch.
I recently challenged myself to make a short film in one afternoon documenting the place that I live in. I used the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 for all the shots adapted to my Sony ZVE1. I used a range of apertures depending on the depth I wanted to create. I filmed in 4K 25p (10bit422) and colour graded using my luts in davinci resolve. All of the audio was captured in camera too with my RODE videomic pro. I also added a grain overlay to make it look similar to 35mm film as that was the feel I wanted to go for. I hope you guys enjoyed this one! If you have any questions please let me know. EDIT: A few people wanted to know the adapter I used for the FD 50mm - here it is: geni.us/adaptfd
What computer do you use to edit your videos?
“Our job is to harness the photograph as a tool, instead of becoming its slave.” I can't tell if you have broken free of the camera or if it has become part of you.
Mitch! Man I love when you do videos like this. ( love the gear and camera reviews too), but these videos man they are so relaxing. I am really big on sounds and moody shots. I love this! Cheers from North Carolina, USA. Tell Carlo that 7 weeks in Japan was MINT! Loved that series.

Wonderful. I'm speechless.

So beautiful bro ! which lut from your collection did you use here? the rendering is superb
Do you recommended fujifilm xt3 in 2023 for a cinematographer that is on a low budget?
would anyone know how this lens would perform with a ZV-E10?

Its by a brand called Urth - works pretty well in my opinion.
Hey mate incredible work, just wondering if you will ever release a Kodak Portrait 400 style Lightroom preset? Feel like you had mentioned something similar in an old video.
Cheers
