- Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mayweather Promotions Leonard Ellerbe talk to the Wall Street Journal's Lee Hawkins about Mayweather's fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, his career, his philosophies on wealth, his pay-per-view deal with Showtime, Bob Arum, and his plans to break into the boxing promotions after he retires from boxing. Among other things, Mayweather tells Hawkins that he may consider fighting Manny Pacquiao if Pacquiao agrees to sign under his Mayweather Promotions company.

Funny how Floyd mentions weight doesn't have anything to do with the fight, it's all about skill. But in other interviews he says Pacquaio only beat De La Hoya because he was drained.

i love italian football and have done since i was young and so do lots of other people. i dont know if you watch it any more but its not as ridgid as it yoused to be. if you were as quick as him u would use that to your advantage + hes not a big puncher so hes more effective on the outside. watch the fight again in slow mo and ul see he was in the pocket. boxing is about whatever u want to do legally in the ring. no fighter in the light weights has quick ko's when is the last time u seen it?

IMO Mayweather is the greatest fighter of his era & would beat Pac at any point in their careers... However. I think that Ray Robinson is by far the greatest P4P Fighter of all time.

I am a huge fan of Manny Pacquiao, and i get bored by Floyd's fights. however, I am a big fan of his business model, it is the first of its kind in BOXING. I take my hat off for him, if Pacquiao had the same model, i think he would even be more wealthier than Floyd... this is but my view!!!
