ADVDrummer unfortunately I'm a one man show and had to prioritize bands and interviews. There were a lot more I wanted to get to (spencer drum cam was one of them) but there weren't enough hours in the day. Def will eventually get him though. He's a good friend of mine
Vans 2017 didn't have nearly as many bands that I wanted to see, but the two I did, made it the best year for me (Trophy Eyes & Movements) and I'm buying the new album the minute it comes out. I hope to see the band on next year as well, for both of them, but honestly it doesn't matter how long I wait, next show near me, I'll be there.

This was a great interview, and I know I'm still going to love the new album, but I'm super bummed that they've dialed back the screaming. I understand his reasoning for doing so, but the screaming was my absolute favorite part of Outgrown Things. He says "singing" is what he's good at and he's right, he's a great singer. But I think he's a fucking phenomenal screamer. That's disappointing. Dammit.
