Might be a no-go for colored hair. I've had similar issues with products that were great for the non-colored part of my hair and not-so-great for my colored parts.
My hair loves this product. I'm trimming my colored ends because of this.

You probably need to layer it with another gel. Plus make your sections smaller. Your hair is so thick
