I've been following all the builds and I have to say yours is the most impressive. Sure Rudys build is intricate and complex but I do believe at the end this one will be the one that stands out. I'm so happy you went with the bare metal look. Going to be awesome
I have to admit, I don’t like the rig but I have loved watching it come together. One of the best series you’ve done in a while (for me at least!). Can’t wait to see what you do for the cage.
@@bleepinjeep 🤣🤣 if you had chosen a Land Rover, I’d have probably dropped out as a competitor and gone over to help you! Seriously though… I’ve really enjoyed the content. 😊
I was watching this video while trying to figure out the thumping noise from the right rear on my XJ. It's been a couple of months since I did the rear brakes, and your video came up first when looking for a solution. Sure enough, I saw i put the cable on the wrong side of the tensioner for the auto adjuster. Loved seeing you from 10 years ago! Lol! I left you a comment in the way back machine. 👍 I'm glad I could fix it up with your help, my friend. Silly mistake on my part, but it's all good now. Thanks for the help! You and the gang are great! Love watching your videos. And yes... I voted for you! Thanks! 😁👍👍💪💪
I'm sorry but DO NOT FLUSH ANY WIPES even if they say flushable on the pack or sanitary napkins. I been doing plumbing for 30 plus years and those are the most things that clog your sewer besides roots. Just so you know. Awesome build by the way.👍🙏
Better yet, get a bidet. Life changing. A bidet toilet seat is about a 100 bucks, and simple to install. You'll never have a sore but again. Just dab dry😊
Solvent trick. I take a 5 gallon bucket and cut a bunch of 2" holes in the bottom. Then I line it with a paper shopping bag. (I know...) Then I put that bucket inside a good bucket and pour used solvent in. In a week you'll have solvent clean enough to mix with your new stuff. I've been doing it for 50 years. Saving the environment, one clean bearing at a time.
Maybe a couple of LED mini flood lights on that axel truss for "towing" needs to light up the area during a night time rescue. Then, a few more under the "bed" to light up the ground and rear.
Hey y’all ! Love your channel. At first I thought what in the world are they thinking, but then I thought about all your awesome builds. I had to trust the process. Wow what a cool project!
In real life, every quart of oil, every air freshener, every tool you need or replace all count towards the budget. You can also add in things around the house you have to pay others to do because you are too busy to do it yourself and the beers to celebrate each small victory along the way. This is the real reason most projects take years to finish.
You are a lucky man not only is she a very good woman takes good care of you. Let her laugh. Her laugh is something else. It’s adorable lol you better treat her good.
With equal lenght axle shafts the pinion is off center around 1 1/2" so if you are centering off the pinion the axle would be off center under the truck.
Josh you need to get the lunch lady something nice for Christmas good boss that's funny free food and a paycheck pretty sweet deal happy for you and the channel
We all end up with dumb birds that cant find the out....then they end up dead in the windowsill. That pinion air hammer tool is alot slicker than using a brass punch
Can't wait to watch the whole video when I have time. An unrelated question Matt because you are also a Jeep guy. 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2wd 4.0 30-40le tranny. Reverse gear went out. Is that usually a clutch pack problem or something else? When I'm on a flat surface or front end down a bit like in a parking lot reverse won't grab. However if the front end is elevated slightly reverse grabs a little bit to move backwards. Any input would be helpful.
Thats weird, I'm not much of a tranny guy so im not sure but you might ask Russel from the last video, he is excellent at transmissions and can fix it for you if needed.
One question on budget, do they actually give you 20K, or do you pay for it all, then turn in receipts and get payback. So at the end of the day for putting in the work, you all get a free rig? Trying to figure this out, lol. Great content as usual and man can't wait to see this on the trail.
A double triangulated suspension with regular rubber bushings seems so odd to me. I feel like no matter how well it’s setup it’s going to bind like crazy. I suppose we’ll see.
Suppose the gears were worn out on an axle. Replacing them would count as maintenance and not apply to the budget but what if you replace them with a different gear ratio. Does it still count as maintenance?
All the maintenance and say safety stuff where does that money come from is it out of your pocket or do they give you a separate stack of cash for stuff not counted in the budget
It's all out of pocket unless I can talk that particular company into sponsoring the part, in which case I have to repay them with advertising or whatever is agreed upon.

I can't stop staring at that tractor with the forks on the front. The whole time you're trying to move that frame.
I saw that too but then we would have missed the struggle. lol

Love the "TLAR" design work... That Looks About Right!

This is an understatement. Even if they manage to make it to the water treatment plant, they have to be raked out and sent to the landfill.

Bleepin Jeep logo on the Pumpkin but use the upper mount section as the backdrop for a crown.

Build is coming along nicely. Can’t wait for the test drive. How’s everyone after the storm? God Speed 😊
At first, I thought I was watching an early 90’s local business TV commercial.

Sick with Covid watching my favorite RUclipsr.
25:10 Holy Grail with low rider font, led lit from the back..for the sema show..Robby got laser cutter CNC thing..
I think the Holy Hand Grenade would be fitting in that location on the rear differential.
Attach a hose to your parts cleaning tub that will drain into your bucket when you open the valve. 👍👍✌️
My goodness, you guys are fearless!
For the rear end.
1) What is your name?
2) What is your quest?
3) What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Funny how the place looks like one big mess of a junkyard but guy knows just where everything is. 🤣🤣🤣
Holy Hand Grenade!
I always put a water valve in my parts washer just for draining. The Ranger is nice but wait till you clean that out. Haha 😊
Do the Mad Max Fury Road skull on the big blank space above your rear diff. Or better yet the bleepin Jeep skull.
I always wondered if you read my comment about "hot had heavy" moments in the past. That was funny!
Hey Matt, I hope you made it through the hurricane okay. I'm not sure how far west the major damage stretched. Great video and hoping all is well.
Nice progress.
That rear diff. plate needs a Jaguar Emblem on it.
This thing is sick!!!
Good deal 👌 ill watch this later after the talladega race 🏁
Matt, get some thread files. they make your life a lot easier
Simply amazing how U guys have so much to do on the build,an your cleaning a 8yr old part's washer. I don't understand,(Pat can I buy a W).?????????
Weld a Boomerang on it that's a Mad Max reference.
How about an "XJ", with crossed swords forming the X, for the rear truss plate?
Do a Rat Rod Bob steel paint job on it. Protected with paint and looks like steel.
Put a valve like a motor cycle gas tank and a hose to drain your parts washer and put a screen to help clean the junk out of it
There's a great space for the holy hand grenade on that plate, but then again maybe not, you don't want that to blow up.😉
Yer ole lady can cook and mow. You lucky bastard.
Mad max flaming scull on rear diff brace
Use lights with your axle artwork.
Add the rabbit to the back of that rear axle!
With equal lenght axle shafts the pinion is off center around 1 1/2" so if you are centering off the pinion the axle would be off center under the truck.
The Trojan Rabbit should go on the upper link mount.
looks like a Shriner's hat on the rear diff
Put an el camino bed on the back integrated into the roof line and you will get a vote from me.
Witness me!! On that plate above the differential.
The Black Knight: " 'Ti's but a flesh wound!"
Where do the lawn mowers fit on the build?
How about just the bleeping jeep skull on the truss plate
If you get a small feeder and put in a door or window the bird will find it. I like the build..
You should do a big bare foot on the plate in true Monty Python style. Or a Swallow (European, unladen).
Put a metal logo from the tee shirt you had on. Different color from axle.
Josh you need to get the lunch lady something nice for Christmas good boss that's funny free food and a paycheck pretty sweet deal happy for you and the channel

Why not use the tractor to move the frame? It’s right there!

You should completely trust any lunch lady that comes in rocking a Beetlejuice shirt
Do the French guy taunting with his hands over his head on the spot above the diff cover.
"A witch!"
