Seems weird, but Disappear was the last song I was able to listen to before heading to war in the first Gulf War in early 1991. (US Army) When I hear it, it makes me both sad and nostalgic. I made it through, but lost some comrades too. So long ago, not worth comparing to anything recent. Tough to explain it, but wanted to share it. Sorry this is corny.

Totally agree. I've never heard it on the radio in the U.K since the mid-nighties. Crazy! To me it's like they know how popular INXS would become again if their timeless classics were re-released. An maybe they don't want people looking into Michael too much with how he died.

how did you get the multitracks for this song? or if you used multitracks?
Actually wasn't able to find stems for this one, so had to extract them from the original song, which isn't always perfect and so it takes some adjustments to fix some imperfections that might happen when extracting the stems. But you're right in that it's always easier if multitracks are available.
@@TMT_Mixes wow! must have been time consuming to extract each instrument from the song, but paid off in the end. this is such a fantastic extended mix, better than the official extended version. can i ask what program you used to extract the stems, or how you did it? i would love to see more ones from INXS (bitter tears, suicide blonde?). thank you for your amazing work!
