But polite smiles and chuckles have replaced the weekends filled with laughter. Do I miss it? Yeah, a little. Do I want to go back? No, not really. Still, it would be interesting to stumble across it again one day.
i wanna be a mess. make mistakes to learn from. i want my human experience to be authentic. i think that'll be my 20's. my brain creates fear, but my heart, though tired n worn from years of neglect, is my compass. mac miller said "just continue living life, bc enough of 'em don't". it's admirable we r all still here trying our best. the way halle decorates her life is inspirational

If it's any consolation, so far my 30's have been way more exciting than my 20's. I am in better shape now and spend more time outside now than I ever did in my 20's.

I miss being 20. I had kids young so I never really got to experience a lot of things and I’m 30 now. But I’ll get to live life for myself when I’m 46 and all my babies are grown. All I can say is enjoy it. It really does go by so fast.

Ah! I recently started my sourdough bread journey too! It is a long process and I have yet to make a decent loaf of bread! Also there are lots of recipes that you can use the discard in so that you're not just throwing it away!!

You don't need to have accomplished anything at 20. My 20s, especially my very early 20s were crazy and lots of things happened. After that, it felt like my life was already over and there was nothing to accomplish anymore. Take your time. Depending on what you're doing, you'll probably never have this much time and it will probably never be as easy to make friends again.

I think 22 has been better than 20 certainly since I was 20 during the pandemic and my birthday was the last thing i got to do before the world shut down for a period of time!
