  • the ever popular forever hitting my inbox pearl vampire choker. I did it. I made my own version!
As tik tok has reminded I did not credit the origional photo: which is from hellsbellz
I just found it on pinterest
to find images of this style I Googled "cut throat choker" and "pearl blood choker"
you'll find that the interwebs is full of many variations from many creators.
as far as I can tell from some research post making the tutorial the first design pairing spattered pearls and red beads graced the runway in 2006 for a Dior show by designer John Galliano.
as with any design I tried not to copy any one picture pace for pace and make the design my own, and encourage other artists who try their hand to do the same.

I saw this on TikTok and immediately went to Joann’s to get stuff to make my own. The cord I got does not want to hang straight though 😭 I’m going to try again tomorrow with fishing line.

For the red beads part? I had to use beads w a bit if weight to pull the fishing line straight. If they're too light (some plastics can be) it may still sit in the shape of the fishing line spool

Love your video I'm so excited to try! I'm still a little bit confused on how you threaded the string to come out the bottom for the blood beads? How did you finish the other end if you never used the end of the string bc you had to pull it through the bottom?
