  • To celebrate 170th anniversary of the Hong Kong police force, this photo slide dedicates to the Hong Kong police cars of the past, some of which are believed to be forgotten. This video hopes to bring back older people's memories, who may remember seeing some of these police vehicles on road, and to younger generations of police vehicle enthusiasts' better knowledge and understanding of motoring history.
    Interesting Fact: Before HK police was being granted a 'Royal' charter in 1969, most police vehicles were painted grey! Due to the Royal Navy sold their left over battleship surplus paints from the WWII to the police force for their vehicles.
    I'm sorry if I made these (sub)titles describing the vehicles too large and blocking the views. I should've made them semi-transparent and smaller back then :P
    為了慶祝香港警隊170周年紀念,這個片段記錄了昔日的香港警車,其中一些相信以經被人遺忘了。對年紀大的人這個視頻希望帶回當年今日記得在公路上看到的警車. 對年輕一代的警車愛好者可以有更好的認識和理解。
    香港警務處在1969 賜封'皇家'二字前, 大多數警車車身以灰色為主! 因為英國皇家海軍在第二次世界大戰後賣出他們剩下的戰艦油漆給警務處作為車輛主要的顏色。
