I did that with my mom and the helicopter had glass doors so each of us had one side of our bodies that seemed open to below. It was so crazy scary, Beautiful and Exciting, all at the same time.
That was crazy how many cars were in that line and people standing in line! I would have left too! I think what happens is you feel peaceful spending so much time in nature and just with Joey that you realize how busy and stimulating the world is now. SO its actually a cool thing that you are feeling that. You have created a peaceful life for yourself! And as always if Joey doesn't put a smile on someone's face there is something seriously wrong! Love how you started the video just panning to him in the car! Love and blessings and His protection over you both!

Seeing the Grand Canyon is on my bucket list of places to travel. It's so gorgeous. I am only 8 hours away and I can't believe I haven't been there in my lifetime (I'm 56). Thank you for showing us the gorgeous scenery. If you were there the day before Easter, that was probably spring break for a lot of people too. Now that you have your National Park pass, you can go back any time !!!

My brother has kayaked the Colorado River thru the GC. A couple of times. Can you imagine how beautiful that would be? I've been to the GC once & can't wait to go back.

I only visited the east , south rim...was gorgeous and the east entrance had just opened a couple of days before.....we just missed being there at the same time by days!! I now want to see all of the park and perhaps go to the river bottom!!
Two yrs ago I went with my brother in law to the GC. It was a bucket trip for him as he was fighting liver cancer. We took the train to the park and stayed 3 or 4 nights, it was great to see the sights again. My brother in law lost his Battle but the memories are the best. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy! It's an amazing place! The pass help so much. I saved almost $300 so far on places. I went to Grand canyon 2 months ago. Stayed at a couple of fire roads just south of Grand canyon. I believe 688 and another one just across the street from that one. Happy trails!
I feel you about the crowds! A couple years ago, I went to Yellowstone and Yosemite in the same summer, and while it was beautiful, it felt kind of like being at Disneyland. See you next video Joey!

This week, as soon as you said you were at the Grand Canton, I hit pause and headed to the living room TV where I can access RUclips. I knew this was going to be a video for the big screen. Haha.
I wish I could have gone back to see more. It is such a magical place. Had unexpected snow come through when I was there made it even more beautiful but very cold. So happy you enjoyed it!

I am 75. Oh my, this has changed so much since the last time I was there 30 years ago. It doesn't even look like the same place with so much cement, so many people (even during Covid). I feel so very lucky to have seen it when it was more natural. I so hope you enjoy it! I think I will pass on going back again, just so that I can retain the memories of when it was more naturally awesome:) Thank you so much for not only showing me chaos, but also the beauty! Thanks from bringing me back to the Grand Canyon… in 2007 is visited Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon and that trip was life changing, little did I know that in only the 2 years after that trip my life would fall apart and it would take more than 10 years to build it back up again… Now I’m planning my USA road-trip to revisit a lot of what I visited before in 2022 or 2023, with the hope to see all its beauties once again, but older and wiser… Thanks for the mini-holidays you give me (and all other viewers) Peace, stay safe, stay healthy and stay happy!

I had the same experience on Easter Sunday 2019. First time there and it was packed! I only spent about 3 or 4 hours and then my anxiety kicked in. I plan to go back this fall. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad you were able to enjoy the park.
I spent six weeks living at the South Rim Village of the Grand Canyon, volunteering with a conservation org ten years ago. We salvaged juniper berries, and thousands of small plants from a huge swathe of natural habitat land that was slated to be razed for another carpark for the visitor centre. It was bittersweet, knowing it was all going to be paved over for cars. But the experience of living on the rim was extraordinary and a great privilege.
I've missed being able to watch you and your wonderful adventures. This one was great! I want to go to the GC and hope to be doing so soon, Thank you darlin. This was beautiful. Joey looked like he wanted a bite of your sandwich, Ha! Take care and safe travels to you. Peace!

It’s such a beautiful place it was one of the best vacations I’ve taken. Holiday weekends are never a good time to be in a national park.

Amazing video! I was there camped out with my 2 daughters and my ex. We had a lovely time, I remember being in the tower looking out! Great memories!
