I really enjoyed voicing Zale! The animation is so smooth, and the music fits so perfectly as I said before, so I can't wait to voice him again for the later episodes!

This is my favorite project I've done with Hikarian so far. Composing music for Tales of Zale Episode 1 was really an adventurous experience on my end! The amount of work everyone put into this first episode was tremendous. I'm happy to finally see this released, I hope everyone enjoys it! :D

Guys! It quality over quantity! Animations as good as this takes many people and lot's of time. I don't think ANYBODY will be happy if the next is rushed and crappy. Be patient and it will come out eventually.

aaaaaaaaa everything is so pretty and beautiful! And I love Zale and Elva so much, they're adorable! If merchandise ever came featuring their adorable mugs (especially plushies) I would be on those in a flash! Very, very happy to have been a part of this!

Beautiful! I love the animation, especially how you draw the owl. It is true that some owls stay up during the morning and sometimes wake up during the afternoon, so I think that the timing is good to.
I'm so impressed by how much work you've put into this and how polished the final result is. Your attention to sound design, oft the most neglected aspect by many animators, is especially admirable. You should give Matthew, Ryan, Mack, and Nick a big pat on the back for their help in tying it all together. I really hope this project works out and gets the attention it deserves so you can keep making more large productions like it.

Holy crap, these animations are so smooth! And the voice acting!! The voice acting!!! It were so good that I didn't even think to react on it until the end!
A vast improvement from the pilot, the amount of time to draw such fluid animation must of been extensive!
wow this turned out amazing. I remember when you sent me the animatic of this BUT THIS....It came out much better. And well done to all the voice actors you all did an amazing job (and I'm hard to impress with voice over work). Music was also another amazing thing fit the world perfectly.
The only criticism I can give this is maybe adding in just 1 more frame instead of animating on 4-5s...oh yea and LENS FLARES AND CAMERA SHACK!!!

This is just completely amazing and fresh. I'm loving it a lot, the sound, music, and voice production is fantastic.
Well, I'm ONLY 8 years late, but I stumbled upon this after watching your much more recent masterpiece of a short animation of this series. Even though this episode is obviously MUCH older, it's VERY EASY to see the passion and ambition you have for this project. 4:07 is literal proof of this. I mean, COME ON, YOU HAVE TO BE A LITERAL MADMAN to try to pull off that kind of shot so early in your animation journey! It's incredibly rare to see someone ambitious enough not only to attempt it so early, but also show it off publicly AND pull if off SO GOD DAMN WELL! It's downright incredible and inspiring to see such potent talent like that. WELL DONE to you and your team!
This is absolutely amazing work!! I love it, Backgrounds are gorgeous. Animation is so smooth. Story so far seems good, great pacing, not too slow or too rushed. Even the voice acting has real quality :)

At first I wasnt sure on how well I liked this but over time I found Zale's voice to have a sort of innocent quality to it that made him rather cute while Zelva's voice I simply adore hearing. It was paced well and the characters were allowed their pleasentries without me wanting to skip anything, and more so it ended after finding a rather intense sounding cat. I really look forward to knowing who he is and what is going on.
