Guys, If you are having issues on the first PowerShell step to fix the problem, be sure you are doing the same way as the video. Like still copying the command from the desc, and them correcting it taking the spaces. In other words, this is the corrected command: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} Hope it helps if you guys got stuck ^^

thisara nilupul go to settings then to *network and internet*. In the *status* menu you should see *change connection properties*. You should be able to change it from there. Sorry if I’m wrong, I don’t have my PC with me right now.

I also did a complete Windows reinstall (keeping all apps and files), but it doesn't seem to have helped. Ah well, I guess I will just give up. RAY I HAVE FOUND A FIX: go to settings, accounts, your info: if it says update info or add info, click on it. For me it said to enter password which is what needed to be confirmed and updated. After you have entered the correct password and logged in, close everything down and shut down pc. turn pc back on and it should work. I spent ages trying to fix it. also for addition info, when you press windows and search 'store', my microsoft store was greyed out before the fix. it did not respond at all when clicked on, didn't even minimise the start menu, it was like hitting enter or run didn't do ANYTHING. Hopefully this will help someone. Like so others can see

For mine, I fix via enabling back my "Windows Licenses Manager Services" in "services.msc". Previously I disable due to notifications of "Expired Windows 10" keep popping.
I tried all these steps and other suggestions found online for more than 8 hours with no success. I was only able to view the Microsoft Store homepage, but when I clicked on a specific app, I encountered the same - "Please try again." error. I was also not able to access Skype and Facebook messenger (My PC has a wired LAN connection). Then, I noticed that I was also not getting any chat responses on one of my online games thru my phone (I connected thru WIFI). So, I came to realize that there was nothing wrong with any of my PC software or Apps. When I restarted my modem, all messages came and I was finally able to access all apps on my PC without any similar issues. (I had my connection speed tested all throughout the trouble-shooting process. Every time I ran the speed test, it always showed me 10mbps for download and 45ms so I never thought that it was my modem or internet who caused the problem.) In short, restart your modem first before doing such basic and advanced trouble-shooting steps. Hope this helps!

whenever i do "wsreset" it always tell me "youll need a new app to open ms-windows-store link." if your windows update is disabled via services please do enable it but in MANUAL so that the microsoft store will open and try it again, you can disable windows update after you use microsoft store

Hi, I have tried for 2 days already checking several youtube videos, Unfortunately none worked. I could finally get rid of this issue by installing Windows 10 again but from an USB. That way I cleaned completely the partition where Windows was installed. It worked and you dont need to buy another license, but of course if you have important files on that partition you need to make a back up first.

@@shellywell9236 Hi, I recall that in my desperation I even bought a new Windows 10 license on eBay (cost me around £4) however when I went through the steps of reinstalling the system through the USB flash drive the software never asked me for the license key, even though during the process I cleaned the partition where my former Windows 10 was installed. What I encountered was that when I cleaned the partition I was not able to install Windows 10 on it straight away. I needed to go to command Windows to clean and convert the disk to a format that allowed me to install Windows (for doing this I saw another tutorial on RUclips) I'll put the link to show you better.

It's not helpful. Still I followed all of that. I can use RUclips and other searches but whenever I tried to log in to Microsoft account, download applications, videos, or updates it shows up some code or I'm not connected to internet
the wsreset.exe command seemed to work for me. although, every time i tried a new method I would click 'retry' and would get an error. this time after the wsreset.exe command I clicked the x and cancelled the download, went to my microsoft store purchases (website) and clicked install. worked for me after that. not sure if hitting cancel instead of retry this time had any correlation to it working. thanks!

go to services (Computer Management/Services) and check "Web account Manager" service is NOT DISABLED! make it "Manual" then start it... and try opening MS Store... I solved mine this way...
for those who cant get it to work still, i had one app downloaded from the store, spotify. i couldn't get it to connect to my phone so i thought to update it. store wont open, no fixes work. i repaired spotify in the settings and poof, the store opens like normal. it may be an app the went bad and is screwing with the store. maybe try to uninstall some apps or repair them.

the wsreset.exe command seemed to work for me. although, every time i tried a new method I would click 'retry' and would get an error. this time after the wsreset.exe command I clicked the x and cancelled the download, went to my microsoft store purchases (website) and clicked install. worked for me after that. not sure if hitting cancel instead of retry this time had any correlation to it working. thanks!

go to services (Computer Management/Services) and check "Web account Manager" service is NOT DISABLED!
make it "Manual" then start it... and try opening MS Store... I solved mine this way...

Did you check for windows updates .. if not check for the updates .. install and reboot .. it should work

for those who cant get it to work still, i had one app downloaded from the store, spotify. i couldn't get it to connect to my phone so i thought to update it. store wont open, no fixes work. i repaired spotify in the settings and poof, the store opens like normal. it may be an app the went bad and is screwing with the store. maybe try to uninstall some apps or repair them.

I HAVE FOUND A FIX: go to settings, accounts, your info: if it says update info or add info, click on it. For me it said to enter password which is what needed to be confirmed and updated. After you have entered the correct password and logged in, close everything down and shut down pc. turn pc back on and it should work. I spent ages trying to fix it. also for addition info, when you press windows and search 'store', my microsoft store was greyed out before the fix. it did not respond at all when clicked on, didn't even minimise the start menu, it was like hitting enter or run didn't do ANYTHING. Hopefully this will help someone. Like so others can see
