I have Hutch #1 personally, but you having him with the highest impact grade means I'd be splitting hairs if I complained tbh. My only major disagreement would be that I think Hutch has the best get off in this class.
Aidan Hutchinson has a negative ape index (shorter wingspan than his height, -0.5") which means he's going to have to win with technique his whole career. He's tall so his arms are still long-ish, but against OTs with 35"+ arms at his same height, his 32" arms might not be enough. I feel like he's safe and polished but not a lot of upside. I think a lot of people wanted him to be a Bosa or TJ Watt, but he isn't as athletic as they are in my eyes, especially not as athletic as TJ.
So ppl are saying because Thibodeaux is interested in making money in stocks (like crypto currency) is a red flag is a bad thing? I’m interested in that and so are NFL owners likely. I guess the red flag is, when he gets his payday, will his production drop cause he got paid? That’s the only red flag I can raise with that report and that’s understandable. The hardest evaluation of a player comes with when that player gets their payday are they going to stay hungry? I mean mentors/agents teach these kids how to interview to get drafted.

Their combine performances are eerily similar, but Walker is an inch taller, has arms two inches longer, and weighed 22 pounds more.... while putting up almost identical numbers in all the activities. Ojabo is unfinished because of a late start in football and Walker is unfinished because of how his coaches used him in games. Despite what may be a very serious injury, you are willing to pick Ojabo top 15 and have Walker falling almost out of the first round? Maybe you could explain a bit better why you show these two prospects such differential treatment? Maybe do a video just comparing these two prospect to explain what you see as difference? I have not watched enough of your videos to know for sure, but my initial working theory is that you really do not value size and power as much... but that could be because I am biased as a Packers fan to look of players that are larger on the edge, which is what the Pack front office like. :-)

What walker does right now well he isn't a completely developed pass rusher is underrated as well, great run defender who played all over the front and in a rotation, and drops in coverage at 275. Walker is a certified freak and all he needs is a little more work and I see him being a top 1-5 edge rusher for a long time. Top 10 prospect.

I think the Bosa brothers ruined grading college edge rushers for a lot of people. If you haven't perfected almost every pass rush move there is before the draft and have elite physical traits then you're not worth a top 5 pick in their minds.

I have KT at 2 but I have to say if Im the Jags, I would take him at 1. With Josh Allen on the other side, Thibodeaux could reach that immense upside. The stupid annual reports like we had with micah parsons is the thing I hate the most about the draft and if he falls teams will regret passing up on him

Combine warrior. I don't see those traits on his tape either, he doesn't look nearly that fast or explosive despite the scheme limitations he talked about here. Clearly his athleticism will get him drafted too high, but he looks like a second round guy on tape, and he was graded that way until the combine by a lot of people. When it comes to draft day, I don't believe he's a top 5 pick.

KT Dominated in weak PAC 12 conference. You made a comparison to him and chase young you are right they're similar and look at what chase young is doing now, not a whole lot in the NFL versus how they hyped him up in college.
He’s played 2 seasons Myles Garrett wasn’t Myles Garrett till last year give him time but KT first step isn’t gonna change no matter who he goes against he is an insane athlete and a very smart guy pretty raw but very rare athlete I’d take him over hutch just on room to grow KT can develop moves and butch can’t develop athleticism simple to me 🤷♂️

johnson actually rushes off of the edge unlike walker. walker gets put into situations to make plays, johnson makes plays himself
@@JaxKordela Johnson isn't as good of a run defender and doesn't have the same upside or physical attributes and ability while being inconsistent. What walker does right now well he isn't a completely developed pass rusher is underrated as well, great run defender who played all over the front and in a rotation, and drops in coverage at 275. Walker is a certified freak and all he needs is a little more work and I see him being a top 1-5 edge rusher for a long time. Top 10 prospect.

I think the Bosa brothers ruined grading college edge rushers for a lot of people. If you haven't perfected almost every pass rush move there is before the draft and have elite physical traits then you're not worth a top 5 pick in their minds.
Well that makes sense doesn't it? The Bosa Brothers have been the best edge rushers in the league since they were drafted and have been the best edge rushers drafted in the top 5 in the past 4 years.

@@moistnar Both drafted in 2017 which is 5 years now. I think Nick is better than Watt tbh. I think Watt gets a lot of help. But Garrett is the best edge in the league no question for me.
@@Aryeh487 you think Watt gets a lot of help,moreso then Nick?First off they run a VERY SIMILAR defense and with that the Dlines aren’t even comparable.The Niners Dline is their teams strength.When it comes to the Steelers it’s Watt and it’s all the other guys.Sure there is Heyward but this is real late in his career and he doesn’t have the impact like a full compliment Dline like the niners do.Watt IMO out performs Bosa for so many other reasons.The motor that does not stop,I think the only edge Bosa has on Watt is bend around the edge.Aside from that his first step,length of separation while pushing back the tackle,gets inside and out so much better with pure exceleration and twitch.And again IMO his Dline help is much less compared to the front seven of the niners and it’s not even close to be honest.Both great edge guys,but I have to disagree on the he gets more help.In fact it’s the complete opposite for me.If you put Bosa in Pittsburgh I don’t see the same numbers,but imagine Watt in that Niners front seven.It would be insane production.Even more so then the 20+ sacks he had this past season.Anyways thanks for the conversation..

I have KT at 2 but I have to say if Im the Jags, I would take him at 1. With Josh Allen on the other side, Thibodeaux could reach that immense upside. The stupid annual reports like we had with micah parsons is the thing I hate the most about the draft and if he falls teams will regret passing up on him

Combine warrior. I don't see those traits on his tape either, he doesn't look nearly that fast or explosive despite the scheme limitations he talked about here. Clearly his athleticism will get him drafted too high, but he looks like a second round guy on tape, and he was graded that way until the combine by a lot of people.
When it comes to draft day, I don't believe he's a top 5 pick.

Great video!!!!!!!!!! And as a Jet fan the Combine warrior stuff about Travon Walker makes me fear he may be another Vernon Gholston type if the Jets draft him at 4 or 10. If they trade down and take Walker lower in the 1st round I'd feel okay though. I DO like Boye Mafe at 2nd round, but I only seen him in Senior Bowl and highlights.

KT Dominated in weak PAC 12 conference. You made a comparison to him and chase young you are right they're similar and look at what chase young is doing now, not a whole lot in the NFL versus how they hyped him up in college.
He’s played 2 seasons Myles Garrett wasn’t Myles Garrett till last year give him time but KT first step isn’t gonna change no matter who he goes against he is an insane athlete and a very smart guy pretty raw but very rare athlete I’d take him over hutch just on room to grow KT can develop moves and butch can’t develop athleticism simple to me 🤷♂️

Love these positional breakdowns. I would check out Sam Williams (Ole Miss) as a potential riser come draft day. Decent athlete with good get-off and can legitimately convert speed to power. Can be a good number 3 rusher for a team
