Currently nothing beats the price and the performance of the Liquid Freezer III series from Arctic, hands down best AIO. Also thanks for the Win key discount 😀
Thank you for the very detailed breakdown of the installation process. I'm using this AIO in my next build and it's my 1st time water cooling, and I added extra punishment by deciding to cram everything into a micro-ATX case! All the info is much appreciated :)
Great vid. One suggestion would be to turn the fans around so they pull the heat out of the PC through the cooler instead of pushing the heat through the cooler into the case...
At 7:04 Just route the tubes out the back of the case and prop the radiator up alongside somewhere!! It's jank....but it works!! I did that on my water cooling setup, it was a temporary solution of course....that lasted for two motherboards and three processors. I don't know the brand, but it was supposed to be good. They also treated me right when I had to get a bracket for an Intel chip after I had been using AMD. I know the pump and the reservoir was installed in a 5 and 1/4-in external drive bay, you pulled the dry bay out to top off any fluid that needed it. That was actually pretty cool. Think it's a lot smarter than putting a vibrating pump motor on top of your expensive processor....
Best for bucks is Artic cooling freezer 3. 360 aRGB, with LGA 1700 retention plate, keeps my i9 13900k under 85oc. And best thing is it’s only around $90.00
Thermalright peerless assassin is less than$40....supposedly it has excellent cooling capability, even better than some much much more expensive units.
I stopped using pumps because they break too quickly. A few years and you have to replace them. Never have to replace fans if they are properly maintained. And yes, I use Be Quiet! fans because they are very good and quiet at what they do.
I have found the Corsair AIO application eating Gigabytes of data. I don't know what was going on with that but in my firewall I blocked it from Internet. Although now I use a big Arctic 420mm AIO
I didn't install any Corsair software with this AIO. I set the RGB with my motherboard software because it runs right off the 5 volt RGB header and I control the fan and pump speed in Fan Control. No Corsair software at all.
Now you mounted the radiator to the case and the radiator fans on the outside of the case now won’t the metal of the case spread the heat through the metal as the fans are running and won’t that cause the case to heat up?

i have two corsair h100i that are 9yrs old and after picking up a Pro XT 240 Rad in 2021 that I'm kind of impressed for how well they have holed up for how you don't see that with other CPU coolers
good stuff but you gata make sure you list the trade offs like more points of falure and on average longer life spans on air cooling. keep up the good work.
The advertised boost clock pertains to only one core. While some CPUs may be able to boost to that frequency on multiple cores, AMD only mentions it being achievable on one core.
I would love him to review the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240. I have been looking at that aio for my i9 13900k but im not sure if I should consider it or a air cooler
i have a7700 on a 2240mm aio and on stock voltage curves, i hit the advertized boost clock and it will hold steady. also, you couldve saved quite a bit of money by getting a thermalright product instead of corsair. right now on amazon, the thermalright 240 aio with rgb is $48 and the corsair is $130
That was always one of the main things that bothered me about AMD's numbers' on boost clocks it's only for a split second and they almost never hit advertised speeds.. They are usually a 100Mhz lower and you are lucky to get all cores to hold 4ghz for long periods.... But they are good chips and to me they have the best bang for bucks products..
Sadly, this tells us so much about the computer industry, where a global name does not provide what is needed to cool their own product. Having to do this also diminishes the budget angle from the build. All in one is just as easy to say.
Ok, stock AMD Cooler etc etc - Why would AND or any such company put inadequate cooling on their products? And why would other companies and people buy such crappy products? Seems like I don't get something
Can you sort your graphs out? They are meaningless and hard to understand if you're not going to fill out the basics bits of infomation line axis names, units and title
Ladies and Gentlemen, Always check if there is an affiliate link for the product in question. If there is, then assume it's an advert than an actual review.
I'm not sure where the correlation would be. I mean in this case there isn't an affiliate link but even if there was it would still be a real review. Because I don't see why Amazon would pay for an advertisement for Corsair. With that said though, it would be pretty serious to accuse someone of lying just because they used an affiliate link in a product review. Something the majority of review sites do. The only reason I don't is because Amazon won't give me an affiliate account. 🤷🏻♂️

Thermalright is the right choice.
I think Arctic kicks Thermalrights *ss :) > Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 (76,- euro in the Netherlands)

cooling is great!
the ThermalRight fan coolers are killing it and they are under $40!!

I'd put a third fan behind the radiator at the top for a little push-pull action.

Really? I have a coolermaster 260 aio that is 3 years old and no issues so far
@@Vanessinha91Pucca- life expectancy on most components is 5 years.
@@calldeltosell That's an OK expectation considering it's a coolant cooler that we can't change the coolant

Can you try a snowman cooler 6 pin? Its the best air cooler i bought years ago, it beat every other one and price was and is very cheap
thank you for the video and for the VIP-Scdkey recommendation
check the setting in cmos

you forgot the thermal paste...
No I didn't. The video was just so screwed up that I had to cut it. Sorry about that. Most AIOs come with thermal paste already applied.
Corsair's AIO's come with pre-applied Thermal Paste.

Why didn't you use the ICU Link Fans save a geat deal with the wiring, although they are quite expensive to buy.
It's a budget gaming system.

Yes, I know. I mentioned that in the video. However, it is possible to hit the maximum boost clock on all cores. Stay tuned for next week's video.
No thermal paste?
Nice video, thanks for windows key
thanks for sharing video, good key windows 11 pro
As long as your studio is cool, you won't have trouble with a GoThro!
Air or water?
For me I prefer air but I also vertically mount any chunky GPU and that conflicts with box coolers in a mATX MB/case combo.
Great video. With the power locked at 90 watts? it seems to be the motherboard or P.S. is limiting power? BIOS settings check is next...
Love this case. Great video. Thanks for sharing cheap windows 11 activation hack!
Can we do some windows videos
You play star citizen for 30 days and see how bad that thermal paste is on the IO/pump (all dried up). Loved the video.
great job
