- An Unknown Blue Lagoon in a little Filipino village... what a unique place! This is definitely one of those "hidden off the beaten path" spots in the Philippines.
I went on quite the adventure walking to Sitio Liwan in Conner Apayao. Mud and dirt, extreme heat, and jungle all around me... Yup, it was a mission! But a mission that certainly paid off with a cool experience! I found myself at a unique blue lagoon and cave tucked away in wilderness. What a majestic and local area of the Philippines. A hidden spot... and a very raw and local spot!

Kulas, I have been watching you for years. You have evolved. You're giving my country so much exposure and we thank you for this. Keep it up.
An honor for allowing me to tag along - flavor of the day - walking on a dirt road - fabulous! You're going to get my feet covered with mud - I don't like that! Going this far Kulas is sending strong message to the local elected officials. You're showing the problem. The road needs fixing. I hope the local government will take an action (ASAP) so the locals can bring their product up to the town as well as a good road for potential tourists visit - good job! I like shows where the town or the views are the actual character and this is what you presented - spring and clear water coming from its source - CAVE from nowhere! Wow - that's unexpected - an opening on the opposite side! I held my breath when you followed the kid inside the cave. It was dark and scary. That was daring! It turned out to be a potential adventurer's spot! What a surprised! Lagoon looks clear from above down to where you are standing. The surrounding of the village looked robust plants and untouched forest. What a discovery you just stumbled upon! You are doing what I dream doing - going to unknown places and let the mountains, hills reveal themselves in spectacular way. I am seeing parts of Philippines I've never imagine exist - hidden gems! Roads connecting one barrio to another or one barangay to another is a prevalent problem around the Philippines and it needs to be addressed so people can bring their product to the town to sell. Who would think that below those mountains with lush forest is a gem? It sure is a privilege riding along. Tomorrow is another day, drive safely - from big sister.

1. Your determination and courage to do solo explorations to the unknown/hidden gems in the area is truly amazing.
2. Walking on the mud barefoot (for 1 hour) shows your persistence and passion for adventure. That also shows how brave you are.
3. Walking barefoot and saying tabi-tabi po is totally Filipino 😁
4. You went to check out to see a lagoon, but you did not only find the lagoon, you also saw a cave, a beautiful gorge and swimming in a natural pool. That is an amazing adventure well worth the long walk.
5. I must say, the kids in that area are lucky. The lagoon and gorge is their natural playground that they can go to everyday (instead of gadgets).
6. Truly amazing Kulas! It is only thru adventure vloggers like you and Finn that I learn (and see) beautiful unknown gems like this in my own country.

That cave n crystal clear waters n greeneries were amazing find. Kyle, it was smart of u to always consult the locals prior to the adventure. The kids who led the path were familiar of the cave in n out. It's also nice they speak Tagalog n some English coz that's all u need to get by. The background music was so relaxing n soothing while ur walking between walls of stones. It certainly adds drama while venturing. This one is absolutely a scene to remember. One of kind Kulas exploring the unexplorable remote place, thanks so much for showing, i know even if am from Cordillera there's a lot of places i didn't see. I wish people can afford net or net is accessible in all places you have been vlogging so they can watch you on yuotube. Here in abroad am watching every vlog. I know in the south it's mostly water but in Cordillera it's all mountain upon mountain.

Wow Kulas! You are adventurous, brave, courageous, dauntless etc. exploring the unknown and showcasing the beauty of far flung sitios & barrios of the North. The fresh air, unpolluted, cool, clear brooks & rivers . A blue lagoon where kids swim like fish & unknown caves known only to locals. Sometimes I wonder why people flock to the polluted, traffic congested cities, earning barely enough to survive compared to those who stay behind in the provinces where there is abundant. fresh food that can be forage from the rivers, forest or planted & raised from your yard
while enjoying God's wonderful creation.
A Canadian explorer aka Becoming Filipino Kulas , makes the journey more n more exciting what to see that no adventurer had never gone before. The loud music from the crickets, the crazy muddy road (w/c is good in building a mud house), the secret cave, n the smiling faces of local kids to the blue/green swimming to the cold nature pool. There's no way I'd be able to visit these places myself but thanks to you, I get to see them too in the comfort of my own home. Now, I know it is safe to visit, even the caves. I'm surprised that you have not come across a cobra or any dangerous animal. I thought we have those around. Always be cautious and careful especially in the grassy areas and caves. God protect you always.
