Yeah I was a bit shocked. I've had an Iceco VL60 Pro for a couple years. It's good but it's so heavy and draws a fair amount of power so I only use it when we bring our camper trailer. This new fridge is light and compact enough that I use it all the time. It's also almost a third of the price of the Iceco... especially with it on sale today. I hope it holds up... only damage so far is cosmetic from being in the truck so much.
I dont know if mine is faulty but this thing brings down one of my ecoflow delta 2 from 65% to 8% in 16 hours.. draws 33 watts on eco mode then when reaches setpoint the compressor stops.. but it cycles a lot.
Tried to buy one, it did not survive the Teamsters at UPS. Not going to try again, was a real pain to get what was left of the packaging back together to ship it back.
For the long trip I used an Anker 757 which has 1230wh batteries. But smaller ones like yours would still get you several days of use. The max power draw I saw was 38 watts.
I bought a small one first. I bought a bigger one last night. I like them. It'll stay in the truck though. There's no way I'm picking the bigger one up full. I about killed myself trying to lug the small one full.
Is anyone having issues with the small left side not staying at 0 degrees or what you set it at? Mine will only go down to 5 Degrees and then goes up to 19 and back down to 7 ?? Something is wrong I'm guessing.
O Degrees F? That’s well below freezing and possibly it just can’t maintain that. I’ve kept stuff frozen around 30 F without issue. If you’re talking Celsius then possibly there’s an issue.

I've had 3 different SetPower's and they've been great, none have let me down and I'm always surprised how little power they draw.

We have the 55 and it's great. I wish they'd sell an insulated case for it.
I agree. It’d be good to protect it.
You can make one with the foil lined bubble wrap around the outside. Just be careful to not close it in too much
Insulated cover for the 55 is available on their website under accessories.
I just purchased the PT55 after watching your video. Your channel is great... especially when you do videos on the Bison. I have a 2022 and love it
Awesome!
Banging out the videos these past couple days. Keep up the good work Jason :)
Thanks Ben!
Thanks for the tip. Also I think Toby says yes with the cold water. What power station do you use?

Weird.

That looks like a great adventure. Can’t wait to see the video-any chance it will be a 2 part series???? Oh yea- show the fridge mods too!!
I’m not sure! Either one big giant video or a two parter. We leave for part 2 on Wednesday.
Mine has performed flawlessly.
What power station was that? Seems like it works really well!
It’s from Bluetti. It’s ok. There’s lots of good options out there.
What size power station were you using to power the setpower? I do a lot of backroad camping and have a 583 Watt Klein Power station.

Hey thanks for responding so quickly. Yes, not Celsius. Lol. Ya, I figured between 5 and 10 is good anyway but I was just running a test.
