Every thousand years seems to be happening a lot lately
Lol 😅😅😅😅
It's really like every 20 to 30 years.
it does indeed seem a lot, lot like lass time!
That’s a fact🙄
@@dutcher32 10 years ago we almost bought a house in Wilmington area that never flooded. Way out of the flood area. For the past 8 years it’s been flooding ever since. Something told me not to buy. Glad I listened to my gut.
I'm 15 mins from the beach here in NC and although my yard is soggy, no major problems. Oh, vote 🎵🎵 end the madness!
Stop this every thousand years, it happens every year now!
NO IT DOESNT! I lived there.
Yes,it does! And I DO LIVE HERE!!
It's obviously not normal you idiot
USGS NC rain stations say 10.8 inches
We emptied our rain gauge at 0500 yesterday morning and it was overflowing when I finally got back at 8 pm
So sad. I hope everyone is ok
I live in Brunswick County and 100s of families have been displaced due to flooded homes. I've only heard of 1 casualtie so far. It's so sad to see our county like this.
1000s of us were stranded on the highways and sleeping in cars! I left Wilmington at 2pm with my Dad after his chemo treatment and could not get home to Southport until noon the next day. We tried for hours but route after route home kept washing out. We have over 100 road closures still today! I've been here most of my life and have never seen anything like it!
Florence brought more rain to the area than this PTC 8
Not much written history from 1000 years ago ? Maybe a little dramatized for effect ? 😏
You can find climate (and even local weather events sometimes) in fossil and rock records. That's how they have a timeline of places like Yellowstone and the Cascadia range blowing their tops.
@@tmon930this anchor did not carbon date rocks and tree(s). He spoke out of his arse
@@basedcoins 1. Didn't say anything about carbon dating. 2. Do you think reporters are experts in every field that they report on?
@@tmon930 I agree. They aren't experts. So he shouldve kept his stupid "1,000 year storm" talk. Judging by other posts, most agree with me.
Do you believe in the climate hoax? Do you believe the Greta's of this planet?
@@tmon930 you believe in climate change? You believe the anchor when he said this happens once in a thousand years. You actually believe that?
Why is the federal government withholding FEMA money? We need it now in North Carolina. FEMA has all this money and they always give it to other states. We need to have it now.
Every thousand years.. 😂😂😂😂
Bro once a year. Or every other year. America is 250 years old. What's 1,000 years? What????
America to you is 250 old but to aborigines it is 25000
@@KofiGibbs 25,000 years old?
Try millions of years guy.
To say my neighborhood experienced a once in a thousand year flood is a flat out lie since I am not 1,000 years old but seen these same roads flood every other year.
Aboriginal means what? They kept records of flooding in Eastern North Carolina?
Hahaha get outta here
Why are people shocked? Why are you shocked? Why are you buying into the nonsense of being shocked?
SOME roads were closed……. If your too lazy to drive around it’s your own fault….. I worked the last two days in this….. I had no problems
Well… aren’t you special?
Are you kidding?! I was on 17 when it flooded in both directions in a matter of minutes. People who were driving on clear roadways one minute were literally floating up 17 the next. Southport was completely cut off, all roads in and out yesterday were impassable.
Read SOME roads…… just drive around SAID roads……. There is this new technology called GPS and google maps…. Yes it takes more time….
@@icefishcatYou are Correct! 133, 211, 87, 17, 74/76 all were impassable.1000s of us were stranded along the highways and could not get back to Southport. Over 100 roads are still closed today.
No way would I ever let myself be interviewed by the MSM
1,000 year storm doesn’t mean it’s cause is climate change … 1,000 years we didn’t have the pollution levels so this is normal weather that occurs approx 1,000 years or so
Oh dear one night....Try sleeping in your car for two years as a veteran it's common.
This is NOT a dress rehearsal! His wrath has just begun. If you still have refused to acknowledge the truth and seek and take HIS word seriously, woe to you! Church WON'T save you. Only a one on one personal relationship with Him will.
on the bright side - the blacker and chunkier the water , the better the mold will be
So I live there. All you had to do was drive around it, spending the night at your car with your own fault if you went two hours out of your way you would’ve been home by 8 PM
They found they dumbest person for the interview.
OBX NC FOREVER 🛐🙏
I see old wood light poles still standing and Trees with all the limbs so not that bad. Just rain.
No one should be surprised. The area is low lying and over developed.
The football player for Miami Dolphins was driving a nice car and it was OK pull himm out of his car on and cuff him. 😂😂😂 California is special 😅
Cloud seeding…..allegedly
Insurance going to soar …hmmm
I cry alot
Mother nature at it,s best😅😅, i bet they will blame this on CLIMATE CHANGE, stay tune😮😮😮
It will keep raining in nc...wait for it...yeap..global warming weather arm pit...I predicted it already..rainy modern nc..
