Thanks so much. You should follow the CASA rules and use the Opensky app to confirm where you can fly. I mostly fly at sunrise before anyone is up although I do fly at sunset and sometimes during the day. I am very careful not to fly over people or over cars. I usually fly from a park or along the river. Safety is #1 and if you keep to the CASA rules you should be OK. Best to practice at your local park before trying more adventurous flights. Also keep line of sight to your drone to prevent hitting a tree or a building. If you do commercial work then you will need a permit and some places always require a permit (such as the botanical gardens). You will definitely get better the more you fly. Happy flying :)
