It’s always a treat to see people uploading the Netflix dub and get the attention it deserves. I do find it funny though, that the first time the Sagittarius cloth is seen moving by itself, it was because it was placing itself on Ikki who intended on going on a killing spree with it. Smooth going, Aiolos.
Hah... I found that funny, too! 😅 😅That was only in the anime though, and, as we can see, there were details in the anime that helped improve the feelings of the series a lot, and there were others that did mess things up... I guess cohesion is not an easy thing to achieve when it requires collaboration among many different people... About the Netflix dub, yes, I think they did a serious and decent job. I hope to have something like this with other Saint Seiya series, too. 🙂
@@saintseiyainfo You know, I recently read the manga online and I was really surprised by just how different it was from the anime. The entirety of the Silver Saints arc in the manga from start to finish takes place almost immediately after the Black Saints arc, it’s not even much of an arc as much as it is just a really long fight. I feel like the manga is definitely more logical and mature, especially with just how gory it can get at times, meanwhile the anime focuses more on world building.
@@pcmk1843 I agree the manga is a lot more concise and cohesive. There were quite a lot of fillers in the anime, just like other anime... Some fillers are actually very good. I like Crystal Saint, for eg, and I like how they developed some romance stories with details not found in the manga etc..... Some others fillers seemed to mess up the plot or make it feels so dragged and repetitive. 😒 Though I like Crystal Saint, his existence itself messed up the relationship between Hyoga and Camus..., and the Pope being modified as Pope Ares was really unnecessary in my opinion... Like you, I read the manga after I watched the anime, and at first it felt very strange... The more I read it, the more addictive I became to manga, that includes The Lost Canvas manga, too - so addictive! 🥰🥰🥰
Aioros the true hero among them all. He can easily defeat saga in the tournament for being the next pope. Yet he still remain as low as he can. Respect to you Aioros.
You didn't know? Saga was jealous of Aiolos. Aiolos defeated him in the battle. Saga couldn't accept it and talk to pope Shion. Saying his power is far superior and he should be the next Pope. Shion told him no matter what aiolos has everything to be the next pope. Saga got angry and kill Pope Shion and disguise himself as the Pope. If ypu watch the video Aiolos was hurt by the dagger and power use by Saga to kill baby Athena. Yet he still remain strong and run away with baby Athena. Aiolos is a man of 1 strike perfection. You can see that before the fight against Capricorn Shura. Aiolos dodge shura 5 excalibur hits so easily while carrying baby Athena. If baby Athena never crawl near Shura. Aiolos would have defeat him like he did to Saga. You can see Saga hardly fear anyone except Aiolos. Especially when Aiolos keep coming back to stop him. You see Aiolos is also very intellogent. He is the first one to sppt the pope was saga. And he even crafted on sagittarius temple to the bronze saint. Entrust them to protect athena.
@@J_E_R_I_C Sorry somehow I didn't see this comment of yours till today! 😊 Yes, I'm aware of the story of how Saga killed Shion and disguised as the Pope... I was only trying to say that there was no tournament for Saints to fight for the Pope's position. As told in Episode Zero, there was no need for a tournament, since all the other Saints were younger and not ready.... (most Gold Saints were still chubby kids 😁😁)! Shion therefore just had to pick between Saga and Aiolos, and he did Aiolos... Yes, I agree! Aiolos to me is the symbol of righteousness. He's also exceptionally strong and very smart. I'm impressed most, however, with his kind heart! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much! I felt like the Sagittarius Cloth was a very active "actor" during the series... 😃so I had to make a video about it! And I love Ailos too, he's very warmhearted, very kind.... 😍😍😍
ME ENCANTO TU VIDEO MUCHAS GRACIAS .....
Amazing video. I love the classic Saint Seiya series since I am a child (I am 39 now). I am quite surprised the english dub is actually very good (I really enjoyed the Poseidon part you showed). I didn't know there was an english dub until I found your channel. I am used to watch the series in French, the dub is great (the translation not always so). This series is simply my safe heaven. If I am sad, the first thing I do is watching my favorite parts, like Shiryu's sacrifice or the fall of the final pillar of Poseidon. Now I am going to watch your other videos. :) Take care of yourself and kind regards from Switzerland :)
Wow, you're the first Saint Seiya fan from Switzerland I know! It's lovely to know Saint Seiya is what you turn to when you feel sad... that's sweet! 🤩 Over here we didn't have the whole (and fully dubbed) series of Saint Seiya Classic until three years ago, and now unfortunately they already took it off Netflix (!) So many more people should have had the chance to watch it! 😢 And yes, the English dub this time by Netflix-Sentai Studio is actually very good. I find many of the voices very much fitting for the characters! I just know some basic French, but I'd love to watch the French dub some day. French sounds great! Also, I heard the Italian dub is very poetic... It's great to know you! When you have time, maybe visit my Welcome Note video and drop some lines about how you came to know Saint Seiya... and maybe what you love about the series... so as to say hi to other Saint Seiya fans, too? This is the link: ruclips.net/video/RcW3qMBqfLQ/видео.html Take care! Thanks a lot! 😃
Sure, I will leave a comment. It's great to know you too 🙂. I like the italian dub too actually. If you want to hear one beautiful dialogue in French, there's a video called: Saint Seiya - Mime et Ikki, monologue sur l'amitié, which I love very much. Unfortunately, it's not subtitled. Let's hope Netflix releases the series again, it deserves to be successfull. Take care of yourself too and all the best for you and your family. 🙂
@@phildom08phil77 Sure I will search for that, though I'm not sure how many words I'll understand! 😂 I've also bought a couple of Saint Seiya DVDs in French, and I very much enjoy the channel Saint Seiya Abridged - French with English sub - just so very funny! 😃 Thank you very much! 😊
I'm not sure but I think Aiolos and Aiolia must've been among the first characters that Kurumada thought of - very well developed, very Greek too... ❤️

Aeolos the strongest gold saint 👌 he could wipe out all other gold saints by himself if he wanted it to but since he was no gemini it couldn't happened..
Hah, do you think so? I'm not so sure who's absolutely stronger than whom among the Golds, but I've seen on social media many fans making power level tier lists for them - there are so many different opinions. Interesting! ❤Anyway, it's better if we never have to see them battling each other, right?😃
Sagittarius Aoiros are smart and intelligent. Saga seem powerful but he could never defeat Aiolos. Just look at how Aoiros could punch him while holding Baby Athena on his arm. He dodge Shura attack many times. Only got hit when he left Athena on the floor and the last because he doesn't want Shura to hurt Athena.
